True. We are about to lose 3 goalkeepers so we'll definitely need to sign one or two.

I don't really know what to make of it. It'll be interesting to see if he's learned anything from this season. I do think that getting 86 points and promotion with Southampton was a good achievement. But there are major concerns to address with that season (and massive concerns about this season). That Southampton team was extremely flaky. When things were good, they were often great but when teams made it difficult they often fell apart. The real concern for me is that this won't lead to a rebuild. I think Martin will be largely pleased with this squad. I can see us only getting a striker and that about doing it for him. I think his appointment suits a lot of the current team.

I sit in between SK1 and L1, both blocks sing regularly about wanting to 'sack the board' or 'we want rudkin out' and have done for months.

The backup left back should be one of our lowest earners if we were a Premier League team. Our wage bill is a joke. It needs to be about a third of what it currently is and even then it'd be one of the highest in the division.
-
I don't know if you're joking or not but there are a plethora of established Premier League left backs that are all paid less than 30-40k per week and who are all better than Schlupp. Rico Henry, Milos Kerkez, Lewis Hall, Miles Lewis-Skelly (he's 18 tbf), Rayan Ait-Nouri, Patrick Dorgu, Leif Davis. All paid less than £40k a week. 30k a week should be what we pay to our top end signings this summer. I don't think people realise how stupid and out of control our wage bill is. We shouldn't be paying more than that for a lad that struggles for games at Celtic. Chucking 40 grand a week at a player like Schlupp would be laughable and symptomatic of how badly we have been run over the last 4/5 seasons. I get that his ability to cover multiple positions is good but our squad is so bloated with shit that we don't need him.

We paid a transfer fee and still gave Coady a massive wage hike too.

Premier League has charged LCFC with an alleged breach of PSR

There isn't a plethora of people willing to cover up the **** ups of Leicester City's boardroom by writing £100+ million cheques. If Top ****s off, we are ****ed. Our only hope is that if he does **** off, we've corrected the issues we currently have because as it currently stands we're relying totally on him bailing the club out by writing off our debt to him. -

You're putting all of your faith into one bloke whose only tie to the club is that 15 years ago his dad decided to invest in Leicester City. Do you not see how ****ing weird that is? Do you support Leicester City or King Power? -

So the second he decides he can't be arsed anymore. What happens then? It all needs to be sorted out. Leicester City is fully capable of standing up by itself and should do so. -

Please aim your focus and anger towards the boardroom. It's their **** up. This isn't the Premier League or EFL that are going after us for no good reason. This is our club spending wages far, far beyond it's means with absolutely no limits being in put in place. If you play for Leicester City and you want a brand new £100k a week deal all you need to do is ask Aiyawatt. It cannot be allowed to continue. We as fans have to push these people out of the club before we're dead and buried. I'm not talking about going back to being an underperforming mid table Championship side. I'm talking Reading, Bury, Rangers etc. Please stop pretending this is all so unfair. -

hahaha we went down and offered Coady and Winks 80 grand a week. Far more than the highest paid players at numerous Premier League clubs. Our DoF is killing us. -
Could see him getting a good gig at Newcastle. Basically a massive upgrade on Wilson and would be happy to play 2nd fiddle to Isak. They lack a lot of experience too.

Just seen the clip of Vardy's bottom lip quivering as he's watching it. Well done to the media team

Guaranteed flop IMO. Pleased we've avoided him.

Arsenal's players that are in their 30s are the likes of Jorginho and Sterling who never play whereas the spine of Liverpool's team is players that have 1 or 2 years at the top left. Raya, Saliba, White, Gabriel, Rice, Odegaard, Saka, Martinelli etc all in that 23-26 range where you expect (with the experience they've had) them to start putting in consistent world class performances.
-
If Klopp had been as miserable and played the same boring style as Arteta then the wider football public would have wanted him to be sacked too. Goes beyond results. Arsenal fans are probably happy with the incremental improvements each yeah but I think next season is very important for him. He's put the groundwork in and next season he has to deliver. Liverpool have a very old squad, Man City are in rebuild, Chelsea are a bit of a shambles... it's all there for Arsenal to win it. I think they should start the season as favourites. I think Arsenal need to accept he's not the man for the job if they can't win a trophy next season. It's a bit like Spurs under Pochettino.

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
AKCJ replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
He's a lazy bastard but I'm very sure he'll do well next season. Not the type to score 15-20 goals but he'll help let out wingers (our best assets) shine at that level. -

AKCJ replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Exactly and it's mostly because the squad is ****ing awful. -
This is all bollocks by the way.
-
I can see him getting somewhat regular starts in the Championship by this time next season. Tuanzebe got done quite a few times by him. I like how strong he is on the ball for such a small lad. A bit of Eden Hazard about him.

I'm not arguing anything "for Ruud". Nobody is arguing that the performances since relegation have been a positive. Nobody is forgetting the run we went on. I'm pointing out that the squad is shit and there isn't an 11 man combination of players that would get us even close to staying up. The fault of that lies with Aiyawatt, Rudkin, Whelan and Cooper. -

Ruud has as many points from the 12 teams Cooper played against and he's yet to play Bournemouth. The idea that Cooper got a tune out of those players is ****ing laughable. -

What narrative? The squad is ****ing awful. Iversen was statistically worse than Ward by the way.
