I am mixed on it but I went with pro. I get the concerns about developing youth but I think he has always tailored his career to the situation he's in. I don't think he'll turn his nose up at young players simply because he did at Everton and Burnley. I think the remit here will be to rebuild the squad and I think he'll be forced to turn to youth because I don't see us buying our way out of the problem. I'm very excited to see a mentality change at the club though. Too many prima donnas who think they own the place. A culture change is needed desperately IMO. I do think that he could well turn out to be a new Puel or Pearson in that he lays the ground work for someone to come in and be very successful.

I love Bazball as a mentality. As in, always be positive and look to win every game. Always look to progress the game etc. But there are a few aspects of it that really rub me up the wrong way. Watching Smith and Brook get out while trying to hit big shots while there are men on the boundary is pointless. Especially when the new ball is coming. It feels like it's all or nothing with this team whereas I think that if they played the occasion on time to time they could go on to do great things.

I think you can probably split the fan base in terms of about 30% who thinks he can't do anything wrong, 50% who would prefer him to act on his failings and would go back to loving him if he did and 20% who just want him gone.
