I agree, one of the priorities need to be a manager who develops youth. Nelson, Alves, Braybrooke, Evans and Monga need to be polished and developed, would still stick Macteer, Stolarczyk in that too, eventhou both a little older.

Souttar has plenty of time to be fit for pre-season, Wilder speak very highly of him, I suspect they will be back in for him in the summer if promoted. I suspect Vestergaard contract has a relegation clause in it which see he's wage reduce. Without the need for a fee, If we are willing to let him go on fee I suspect someone would be able to match his wages. Hopefully this season will have made it crystal clear we need a massive overhaul.

I think it is highly likely that Faes and Vestergaard move on, I wouldn't be surprised if we sold Souttar, Faes only has a book value of 6m come the summer, I think he will want to go, and we will find a buyer. Vestergaard has zero booked value, and I think he will be looking for a move if some matches his wages. I wouldn't be surprised to see Sheff U come in for Souttar if promoted. Could be down to Coady with 1 year left, Okoli and Nelson. Could be a big turnover in the summer, Ward, Iversen and Vardy out of contract, Justin, Ricardo, Soumare, Daka, Wink, Coady and Thomas in their last 12 months.

Sport is all about about marginal gains. To overcome a lack of quality you need to be organised, well drilled, fit and well motivated to out work and out run the opposition. Good at set pieces, good at game management, good at exploit the opposition weakness, make good decisions.

I would agree if he wasn't 26 with 250 apps in the top league in England, Spain and France under his belt. Ruud hasn't improved anyone in his tenure so can't see him improving. In the summer he moves into the last year of his contract we have 3 choices, sell for what we can get, lose him for free, or give him a contract. He will never be a top player, his 26, what do you think going to change? He's doesn't score goals or assists and can't defend. He's inconsistent, which makes he a nightmare to play with. In a match he can go from the sublime to the stupidity in the space of seconds. What's he actually good at?

I think you give him a run of games, WInks, Soumare have both been crap. What do we lose by giving him 5-10 games.
