  4. Ndidi look knackered to be fair.
  5. His a kid, he will learn.
  6. We're is the Ipswich aren't luck brigade. Morsy gets away with it week after week....
  7. Double down and say it again.....
  8. They will drop points 100%
  9. Norwich 3rd best home record in the league.
  10. 23rd is the away table, with only 12 points. Should give comfort but makes me even more nervous.
  11. Has to happen at some point.
  12. People wonder why we are doing are best to kick this into the long grass. Our case will take months, similar time scale to Everton first charge which took 12 months.
  13. Let's get this straight...... You go on another clubs forum to see what they are saying about us...... Who's obsessed about who again?
  14. If you asked Enzo to name his strongest side I think other the the striker which he rotates the team that started on Monday would be it. Its the first time since the start of October Ndidi, RIcardo and Dolye have all started together.
  15. I'd rather give people accountability to correct their mistakes than punish them. Who is punished by point deductions, a billionaire living on the other side of the world or a simple supporter who loves their team?
  16. The issue with the current PSR rules is the 3-year accounting window in my opinion. A football club's major costs are transfer fees and wages, both of which relate to a player's contract. Most players are signed on a contract of 3, 4 or 5 years. If things turn for the worse, you lose revenue because it is based on sporting achievement; now, you are in trouble as you don't have the revenue to balance the books. You have to cut your biggest costs, wages, and the amortisation value of transfer fees, so you have to move players on. But guess what? No one wants them because they have been sh*t, but you can't sell them cheaply as you have to balance the debt on the books against the selling price, so you are stuck with players you now can't afford. So you must wait until they run down a 3-year + contract or get cheap enough to buy. With a 3-year PSR reporting window, you don't have the time to adjust and get your house in order. Due to player contract lengths, you can't change your cost base quickly enough to return to tolerance. Your sporting achievement affecting your revenue can change in a 12-month window very quickly; changing your costs is a much slower process. Make the maximum contract length five years and increase the PSR window to 7-year cycles. This will give the clubs the time to adjust to the pressure of changing sporting achievements and a reduction in revenue. To protect clubs, the owner has to sign a bond to cover any losses incurred in any season they make a loss.
  17. I think it would give the charged clubs a strong argument that the rules aren't fit for purpose and could result in a legal challenge.
  18. Common factor with all the clubs that have been charged, lack of control over wages.
  19. Also a it a 13 month reporting period due to accounting date change so the account included 13 month wages not 12.
  20. It all makes sense know, they just want to avoided the EFL clobbering us with a transfer embargo and point deduction early on. Hoping we bounce back, and make a deal with the EFL from the safety of the PL like we did last time. We are just the next Leeds who overspent to reach the champions league, I assume after finishing 5th twice, Rodgers said keep the squad together and buy me x and y and z and we will do it 22/23. Massive gamble that didn't pay off.
  21. There is not a chance we will meet the 3-year 83m target for PSR this season with a coming in with combined loses of 142m (which includes 40m assumed health deductions) for those previous seasons) We would need to sell around 80m worth of players before June.
  22. Correct any saved wage would have a positive gain on the accounts. Transfer fee profit + saving on wages = overall postive impact on the accounts of the transfer. I just think it get more complicated if you add that in to the conversation about profit on transfers as we have little information on wages, bonus etc.
  23. Not a chance we are making PSR for the championship this season. We have an envelope of 83m for this season and the last 2 season. The last two season with a rough guess of healthy deductions of 20m a season which is generous has us at a - 142m as a starting point. We would have to turn a profit of 59m this season, we are probably at the moment at around -20m for the season doing guess work. So we need to sell around 80m worth of players....
  24. So the 3 would be a 2.
