No, they've just, on several occasions, used their overwhelming conventional firepower to attempt to achieve the same end - they call it "regime change". They're doers rather than talkers, apparently.

I'm sorry to contradict you, but it is possible to open the doors using an emergency handle and the correct movement, provided that the pressure differential between inside and outside is low enough (there was an incident recently in Korea where a bloke managed to open a door as a plane was coming in to land).
But yes, there are a load of other factors here that would make such a thing pretty implausible.
