Please can we just ban all future purchases from Southampton from this day forward? There are 90 other professional clubs in England we can continue trading with.

Comes across as a great sincere man in his goodbye video, and always tried his best on the pitch. Nobody could suggest otherwise. Time and injuries caught up with him in the end but I'm glad I got to watch him at his best. Cheers Riccy!

Some of the comments. Christ almighty bet they're fun to work with

Nobody is going to pay him what we do. He has a great time training in a spa every day. He has no incentive to go. He's accomplished everything he will ever accomplish at the top level now it's just securing retirement. We have no choice but to oblige. Or go bankrupt and terminate his contract in the process.

He absolutely berated Stolarczyk for not rushing out or alerting about the oncoming Millwall player in our box. Which also explains why Jakub keeps getting dropped. He's an excellent shot stopper, proved it again tonight. But he's very quiet. Vestergaard has a lot of faults but he was trying. He is going to end up finishing his career with us so might as well get used to him in our starting line up in League 1.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
moseeds replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Rowett is easily the worst manager we've had in the last 30 years. I don't think the players have had a single sensible instruction from him in any game he's managed. -
How do we resolve the fan divide issue
moseeds replied to Jabbaranks's topic in Leicester City Forum
I've been supporting city for well over 35 years. I've clapped when others have booed. I sit in the Kop at the front so can see the players upclose - their body language, what they're saying, their nervousness, anger, all the emotion we too feel and more. Many of them look like children to me the older I get. Some of them aren't much older than my own. At the last home game against Swansea for the first time in years at the final whistle my own anger bubbled over and I joined the chorus of boos but - stopped immediately as some the players turned towards the fans. I was angry, some of them made eye contact like schoolboys in trouble, empathy changed my reaction. They don't know what to do or say. I don't know what to do or say. Everyone is deflated. I missed last night's Hull game. When we last got relegated to League 1 I was sat in the Kop further away. I was younger and hurled some choice vitriol but none of it carried, it was impersonal. Maybe I need to be angrier, maybe it achieves nothing anyway. Apathy set in long ago and now it's mostly habit carrying me to filbert way. I join in songs when others don't but mustering the heart to sing has felt like a chore. My season ticket seems to have auto-renewed but I can't imagine I would have let it lapse in despondency. Hope is very expensive, as Top has found out... I don't think the fanbase is divided as much as this thread is suggesting. We're collectively angry, soon there will be grief. Whether Top continues I don't know but Top has to show there is change afoot - retiring Rudkin will send the right signal and pacify the majority of us. He has no obvious circle of footballing advisors around him so what happens next is anyone's guess, including Top's. -
Still think Danny Ward wins pound for pound. Easily cost us a place in the Premier League as Schmeical's replacement. Daka yes cost more but barely ever featured to do as much damage on field.
-
I ran a social media poll elsewhere during our last championship season every game asking whether Daka will miss an open goal. He was sh*t under Maresca too, just managed to hide behind vardy allowing a narrative about his unrealised abilities to form.
-
He's struggled like everyone but some of the comments are well below the belt. He's always done as well as he could when asked to play considering his significant injury problems over the years. Us going down is not on him by any stretch.
-
Marti Cifuentes would have kept us up. Rowett has absolutely no understanding of modern footballing tactics. Like literally nothing. It feels like he wears his tactical ignorance as a badge of honour. Andy King at least tried to show some pattern of play. This team does not have a clue what to do. I know we were scraping the barrel when Cifuentes got sacked but wow did not expect standards to have dropped to this. Has to be on Rudkin and team - absolutely NO contingency planning at any stage of the season. Too busy ordering hay for horses I imagine. If the contingency was Andy King then that decision itself needs to be studied.

This club is a case study in team dynamics. Individually ok, not the worst. But together, they somehow equal even less than the sum of their parts. Spectacular.
-
I don't think I've seen a single passage of play from Leicester that suggests they have a qualified manager training them all week.
-
How is it possible to still look awful against 10 men who themselves look awful? This is a new level of debasement.
-
Brendan throwing the team under the bus. Absolutely no need for it. Those players are still here to do this day.
-
He's lost all confidence. He was deliberately hiding behind opposition defenders making any sensible passing lanes impossible. He is clearly talented but we have ruined his progress. He has to leave for his own wellbeing.
-
I'd love to have been a flyonthewall when the data team and scouts were analysing daka. Where's the youtube reel?
-
I'm scratching my head as to whether Daka is the least technically capable footballer we have ever had on a monetary value basis? As in absolutely no ability to control a ball in a meaningful, deliberate way when under trivial distant pressure?
-
The Patson Daka fluff reel would be fantastic
-
Did really well tonight. Main attacking threat as well. Well done Luke

That Monga run summed up the team. Monga does a great run. But Daka doesn't know what to do. Eventually realises he has to make a diagonal run but it's too late by then. He doesn't run soon enough to take his man with him giving Monga no option to shoot and then he does make a run but it's now narrowed his own angle. Then Monga recovers the ball - again excellent work - only for Winks to smash it into a Stoke player, after which they break. Skipp did great work in tracking down. Absolute clowns. You'd never know this team has been playing together for over 3 years now.

Bit too much pashhuuunnn lads

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
moseeds replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
I find his falling over antics cringeworthy. It's embarrassing. You can't engage in shithoussery like that if your end product is so embarrassing. -
Does the team really need a manager? At this point I'd be happy if the club announce they've appointed ChatGPT as first team coach. They cant't play any worse.
-
Absolutely achievable. The division is terrible. Oxford were terrible. We were terrible. But there's enough talent in the squad to put a decent run together.
