  1. Right thing to do, but what an awful way to go out. He actually started the season pretty well, but since Ruud abandoned any semblance of attacking it's been fairly pointless playing him. It makes me even more angry that the club has allowed his story to end like this.
  2. Stop playing him. Play Skipp and give him a run of games.
  3. This is it for me. We need to implement a style of play that is manager agnostic. Something that a new manager can slot into it. Dyche would create a squad that very few other managers would be able to do anything with, especially if we want to establish ourselves back in the Premier League.
  4. I’ve long assumed that if the current owners do sell, they will only do it to another Thai businessman. This isn’t about Leicester City, it is about Thailand.
  5. Where are these rumours coming from?
  6. It’s ugly. He had plenty of opportunities to change it at Burnley but didn’t, same goes for Everton. Kompany got Burnley playing a totally different way instantly.
  7. Nigel Pearson, Steve Walsh and then Eduardo Macia masked an awful lot.
  8. Carsley, like RvN, is another risk without enough experience behind him. A name being thrown around just because of a high profile Caretaker spell. Very little club experience, only a period as England U21 manager to judge him by, which is as far removed from club management as you are going to get. Personally I was massively underwhelmed by his time as Caretaker with England. I don’t think he communicated very well, I don’t think he had the air of a leader about him and he showed real tactical naivety in some of the matches.
  9. I remember the widespread anger towards the Gang of Four. What King Power are doing blows that out of the water…and yet, there’s barely any sign of anger at all. I just don’t get it.
  10. Weird, I was sat in the West Stand and was looking out but never saw it.
  11. I missed it as well, what route did it do?
  12. It's good to see the Trust being more active and setting the club actions. Long may it continue.
  13. Without a doubt. I just know that our relegation is going to be greeted with clapping the players off.
  14. Not a chance he would come here. He's destined for big things.
  15. All managers talk well in interviews. I would talk well in an interview because it's all hypothetical.
  16. If Martin has any sense he’ll go abroad. The tide is turning in this country on his style of play and I don’t think it will go down well with most fans.
  17. Renewed but only really because I didn’t want to drop down the priority list. I’ll be reselling back whenever I can.
  18. When we are as pathetic as we are now I kind of get this clamour for Dyche, but I don’t buy that he is a Pearson-esque culture builder. That is doing Pearson a massive disservice. He clearly has no-nonsense values, and we need some of that, but I don’t think we need to go to the extreme of Dyche. His style of play is horrific and I just know everyone will hate it in reality. He also has a permanent chip on his shoulder and I’m not sure we need that kind of attitude next season. He is pals with Rudkin and it scares me the damage they will do in regards to recruitment. There are so many better options out there.
  19. I agree, but then in theory all of the angry people were in the stadium for the Arsenal match and yet it was only UFS who sang.
  20. I think it's a combination of an aging fanbase, the title and FA Cup win, KP's 'generosity' and, for some reason, a real lack of critical thinking within a lot of our fans. So many fans that sit around me only have thoughts and feelings on what is in front of them at that precise moment. They don't look any deeper. They don't look at the DoF or the CEO or the Owner. They don't look at other clubs. It's Daka's fault, now it's the Manager's fault, now it's Justin's fault....never a thought given to why this squad is so bad and why we keep hiring horrific managers. The problem is, how do we change that? The level of anger has dropped as things have got much worse. Unfortunately I think the only mass protest that is going to be possible is one that taps into that apathy.
  21. Union FS need to tip off the TV companies about the 14 minute banners. The only time it’s been shown on TV was during the Arsenal match.
  22. So so weird.
  23. Didn’t go last night, on TV you could barely hear the 14 minute chants. What was it like in the stadium? Astounds me that anyone can sit there and witness that then not join in. Even the booing was half hearted, expect for one occasion when we should have had a free kick and the boos were deafening. Such a weird fan base.
  24. This obsession with playing like Man City has to stop. It fails miserably in the Premier League and, even when it works in the Championship, everyone hates it. The board need to realise that Leicester fans expect aggression, high intensity and resilience as a bare minimum. Until they do, the disconnect will continue. Besides that, if we truly are ambitious, don’t hire a manager that has failed spectacularly in the Premier League.
  25. Tielemans didn’t play for Puel before.
