  1. Accumulate debt due to incompetence > Move it around due to upcoming rule change > Spin it as a sign of commitment. Welcome to King Power.
  2. I think RvN comes out of that article a lot better than anyone else. We know the board are a shambles, but I think we have to seriously start looking at the players now. They are too comfortable and too well connected to the likes of Top and Rudkin. No wonder Coady keeps talking about the togetherness at the club being incredible, you get rewarded with big lucrative contract to spend everyday in a wellness spa and then moan to the Chairman every time the Manager has made you sad. Too much power, too much money, too much comfort, and not anywhere near enough fight or standards. Get them all gone.
  3. Us fans get accused of being entitled, but I think we’ve had a big problem with it within the squad for years. Whole culture needs tearing up.
  4. My point is, we won’t spend it wisely. It’ll be attempted short term fixes at inflated prices.
  5. We’ve done it so that it gives us some PSR wriggle room to spunk some cash up the wall this window.
  6. Being spread too thin is not an excuse for getting big decisions, like managerial appointments wrong. It’s not an excuse for a lack of direction, joined-up thinking or communication. It’s only really an excuse for slow transfer dealings. As for the players liking him, that’s partly the problem. Everyone has got too cosy and close, there is no ruthlessness or standards anymore.
  7. I’ve done the same, apart from one coffee that tasted like piss.
  8. I doubt they will slap an embargo on us straight away as it serves no purpose. The embargo has nothing to do with punishment and everything to do with stopping a club spending if they are forecast to fail PSR for that season. A summer transfer window embargo weakens our chance of passing 25/26 PSR because we won't be able to sell players if we can't replace them.
  9. You are right, it’s not our job to run the club, but it is our job to hold those whose job it is accountable for their actions and their continued incompetence. Clapping along helps nothing in the long term.
  10. Just a reminder that any replacement will be from the usual, unimaginative pool. Either that or they will give Brian Barry-Murphy a shot.
  11. This is good, but shouldn’t be solely focussed on Rudkin, that won’t solve all of our problems. Ultimately Top makes the calls, for example he decides when to fire managers and chooses the replacements. Off the pitch is also being run at an equal level of incompetence. SACK THE BOARD.
  12. TalkSport saying that we were all chanting for Ruud to be sacked and making a huge deal out of it, whilst not once mentioning all the sack the board and Rudkin out chants.
  13. Yeah, I was just walking out the ground thinking how lucky we are. I even popped in the club shop to buy another £200 VarCity Jacket.
  14. He’s had a stinker recently but he’s effectively being asked to compete in F1 with a Mini Metro. Sacking him will cost more money and the next manager will have exactly the same problem. Don’t even get me started on Dyche, he’d hate this squad and we’d hate his style of play.
  15. Alexa, what’s Arabic for “Get behind ’em, we were in the Saudi First Division League a couple of years ago y’know!”
  16. Entirely productive. It holds the club to account, whether they agree or not. Standards have fallen through the floor and everyone is trapped in their secure little “family” comfort zone. Top will shake his head, but he’ll know in no uncertain terms that they can’t carry on like this or else the atmosphere will turn even more toxic. Football clubs may think that they don’t really need the regular match going fans anymore, but success is a hell of a lot easier when everyone is happy.
  17. Dyche would be a disaster here, we don’t have the squad to play his style and we have to stop flitting from one extreme to the other in regards to style of play.
  18. Ruud won't walk, not after doing the same at PSV. He'll near enough black list himself from future jobs.
  19. This will keep happening. I’m not convinced his abilities on the ball make up for it.
  20. I think everything has become too cosy and too close-knit. There used to be an air of ambition, and as you say, innovation at the club. Maybe all of that came from Pearson and Walsh, even after they'd left. Now it feels like a bunch of people just going through the motions, hoping the next reactionary decision will pay-off.
  21. I'm not sure aiming everything at Rudkin is right, it's so much more widespread than that. Calling for King Power to go is never going to happen with this fanbase. I suspect banners will be more effective than chants, as it allows for a bit more reasoning. I liked the "The time for change is now" one from a few years back, as it didn't just pin point all the blame at one person.
  22. We are much more coherent in our play under Ruud, we keep the ball much better, but we simply lack enough quality at either end. The Hermansen and Fatawu injuries have been massive. I haven’t agreed with everything he’s done, I still think playing the first team against QPR was a mistake, for example, but he’s got so little quality at his disposal. We have a raw GK, a defence that have all proven in the past not to be up to it at this level, a midfield that is tidy in possession but offers little protection, no wingers who want to take players on (yes, that includes you Stephy) and a 38 year old striker who can’t carry on digging us out of holes. Let’s not even start on the bench. I think there is a decent manager there and perhaps in a less pressurised situation, with a better squad, he would thrive, but he’s still an appointment I wouldn’t have made. It was way too much of a risk and very much in the spirit of all the other reactionary, vibe-based decisions this club makes.
  23. Wasn’t there tonight, but how widespread were the Rudkin Out chants? Heard it briefly on TV, but only because I was listening out for it.
  24. Taking off El Khanouss, Buonanotte and Winks when you need a goal is madness.
  25. Imagine being in 2025 and still thinking Vestergaard might be the answer.
