…because in that instance they would have people in control of the short term / medium term / long term. Top would essentially just become the bank roller. It’s never going to happen though, there is too much attachment for them to take a step back, so a sale is probably the best of the more likely outcomes.

The problem is, Whelan and Rudkin aren’t going anywhere unless King Power do. If all that happens is that they get new people in around them, it will ultimately still be the same people setting the direction and making the big decisions. The problems are too deep and too broad across the entire football club to be solved easily. I’m happy for King Power to stay, but only if the current board are removed and a new day-to-day chairman or COO is found. We need a full reset.

Soumare again for the second goal. So good on the ball, but we can’t keep conceding goals because of his zero defensive concentration.
-
Soumare just stood there, watching Zirkzee in acres of space in the area.

Delighted he’s giving young Bobby and young Jordan a chance to prove what they can do. Also delighted that JJ is getting an opportunity at right back.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

If RvN was Top’s appointment, what’s the point in Rudkin? (rhetorical question) It just backs up the point that we need wider changes, not just the removal of Rudkin. Top is hiring managers because of their reputation as a player and a couple of matches as caretaker, then telling them that he wants us to play like Man City. What could go wrong. -
It’s so weird. Look forward to him being on the front of the programme again at some point soon.

We have to stop this narrative that Puel signed all of those players. It’s not how football works now.

You can’t stay up with this defence. You simply can’t. It’s absolute basics. Not even a Dyche or a Moyes would improve them, they just aren’t up to it. If only we’d had some warning…

How can they lie if they don’t speak?

Early AGM: Your Chance To Change The Foxes Trust
Ricey replied to Foxes Trust Reform's topic in Leicester City Forum
75% is far too high for any resolution, especially one the Trust is briefing against. Time for a new group? -
Close, but it actually means there is a £10 charge to access the website today.

I think “board” is suitably vague. Top is seen as the owner, not the board. If we just go after Rudkin then it risks becoming abusive and a witch hunt. Plus an upturn in recent results takes the heat off the on-pitch anger, for now. Besides, if we only put pressure on Rudkin the best that will happen is that he’ll get a job title change and it won’t really make a difference. He’ll still be Top’s right hand man, making all the decisions. We can’t ignore the shambles off the pitch. The club has treated the fans with total distain in regards to pricing, fees, ticketing, safe standing, supporter groups, FAB etc etc. They won’t communicate, unless when it is to defend one of those decisions or double down on how above board the gambling crypto sponsor is. Take the footballing side away from it and we still have every right to be angry. We have to reflect that and we have to heard. Focussing only on Rudkin doesn’t achieve that.

The kind of win that can swing things. The ancient forward line did us no favours in the first half, but once we got in front it was handy having them on the pitch. Some standout performances today and way more fight than I was expecting to see. I actually thought we were really poor in the final 25 minutes, but managed to hang on due to how absolutely dreadful Spurs were. It was such a good time to face them.
-
That Spurs defence and team is there for the taking and then he picks THAT attacking group. Mind boggling.
-
Is he trying to get sacked for the payoff?
-
Spoiler alert: we won’t.

I literally posted the quote that says “it takes the investment up to…” which very much makes out as if it is fresh money. They know what they are doing.
-
Another wonderful decision to give him a new contract.

It is an indication of the loans Top / King Power have needed to provide to tick along. KP’s aim was always to make us self sufficient, but the incompetence recently has caused us to haemorrhage money. The club is trying to dress it up as new investment: “This latest debt-to-equity conversion takes the Srivaddhanaprabha family’s overall investment during its ownership of Leicester City to over £420m.” It is not new money, it’s a conversion of previous loans.
-
It is not a huge, huge boost to the club. It’s taking loans from KP and Top and turning them into shares for KP and Top. It’s just a different way of paying them back, if or when the club is sold. They were never going to get the money back whilst they owned the club. It’s purely shifting things around to avoid this new PSR rule around interest on owner debts. A lot of other clubs are doing it. It could also be aimed at making us more attractive to investors, but I doubt it. It’s not new money being invested, which is how the club are spinning it. Don’t believe the hype.
