Yeah, I was just walking out the ground thinking how lucky we are. I even popped in the club shop to buy another £200 VarCity Jacket.

He’s had a stinker recently but he’s effectively being asked to compete in F1 with a Mini Metro. Sacking him will cost more money and the next manager will have exactly the same problem. Don’t even get me started on Dyche, he’d hate this squad and we’d hate his style of play.

Alexa, what’s Arabic for “Get behind ’em, we were in the Saudi First Division League a couple of years ago y’know!”

Entirely productive. It holds the club to account, whether they agree or not. Standards have fallen through the floor and everyone is trapped in their secure little “family” comfort zone. Top will shake his head, but he’ll know in no uncertain terms that they can’t carry on like this or else the atmosphere will turn even more toxic. Football clubs may think that they don’t really need the regular match going fans anymore, but success is a hell of a lot easier when everyone is happy.

Dyche would be a disaster here, we don’t have the squad to play his style and we have to stop flitting from one extreme to the other in regards to style of play.

Ruud won't walk, not after doing the same at PSV. He'll near enough black list himself from future jobs.
-
This will keep happening. I’m not convinced his abilities on the ball make up for it.

I think everything has become too cosy and too close-knit. There used to be an air of ambition, and as you say, innovation at the club. Maybe all of that came from Pearson and Walsh, even after they'd left. Now it feels like a bunch of people just going through the motions, hoping the next reactionary decision will pay-off.

I'm not sure aiming everything at Rudkin is right, it's so much more widespread than that. Calling for King Power to go is never going to happen with this fanbase. I suspect banners will be more effective than chants, as it allows for a bit more reasoning. I liked the "The time for change is now" one from a few years back, as it didn't just pin point all the blame at one person.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Ricey replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
We are much more coherent in our play under Ruud, we keep the ball much better, but we simply lack enough quality at either end. The Hermansen and Fatawu injuries have been massive. I haven’t agreed with everything he’s done, I still think playing the first team against QPR was a mistake, for example, but he’s got so little quality at his disposal. We have a raw GK, a defence that have all proven in the past not to be up to it at this level, a midfield that is tidy in possession but offers little protection, no wingers who want to take players on (yes, that includes you Stephy) and a 38 year old striker who can’t carry on digging us out of holes. Let’s not even start on the bench. I think there is a decent manager there and perhaps in a less pressurised situation, with a better squad, he would thrive, but he’s still an appointment I wouldn’t have made. It was way too much of a risk and very much in the spirit of all the other reactionary, vibe-based decisions this club makes. -
Wasn’t there tonight, but how widespread were the Rudkin Out chants? Heard it briefly on TV, but only because I was listening out for it.

Taking off El Khanouss, Buonanotte and Winks when you need a goal is madness.

Imagine being in 2025 and still thinking Vestergaard might be the answer.

LCFC will NOT face any charges for breaching PSR
Ricey replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
I suspect we've already eaten into most of that with our summer signings and sacking Cooper and his staff, which will all be in the 24/25 accounting period, without any player sales (yet) to offset it. Now the club could bank on the fact that if we go down we can sell an asset like Mads, but it's a huge risk. Even if there is interest we might not get it done before June 30th. -

It isn’t solved, the PL are/could appeal it, which may be what’s preventing a 23/24 charge. -

That article seems to suggest that no new charge can be brought against us whilst the 22/23 legal case is still on going, so we might have breached for 23/24 after all? -

I don't think it means that. It means there are no charges today because we didn't breach PSR. -

I doubt we'll still be able to spend much, as this seasons accounts will be very tight. We had an expensive outlay of transfers after July 1st, without much the other way. -
The recruitment team reports into Rudkin, so ultimately he is culpable. Poor recruitment has been a problem for a long time, even with various different Heads of Recruitment. Also, it's not just about singings. It's about sales (and lack of them). It's about unwarranted long, expensive contracts for average or poor players. It's about a lack joined-up thinking in regards to the footballing direction of the club. It's about flitting from Rodgers, to Smith (and nearly Marsch), to Maresca, to Cooper, to RvN. It's about a total and utter lack of any communication. I could go on. It's not all about Rudkin though, it's the entire club. The problem for Rudkin is that most fans feel very uncomfortable being vocally critical about King Power or Top, so he's getting the full brunt.

Glad we are building all this confidence.
-
There is only so much confidence that you can gain from beating QPR, whereas fatigue and injuries don’t care who you are playing.
-
What a really stupid thing to do when we have two massive PL matches coming up in the next few days.
-
I appreciate there are some grey areas with what counts towards PSR, but the club have all of the numbers at hand and they will have known since July whether or not we have breached. If we have breached, it makes the expensive crusade to dodge our 22/23 charge even more naive. We might as well have taken both points deductions this season, signed players in preparation for the Championship and then started next season with no points deduction. The whole thing is a catastrophic mess. The fact that the club seem to be frustrated with the Premier League for punishing them for trying to compete with the top 6 tells you all you need to know. You can say what you like about the fairness of PSR, but the rules haven't changed, this hasn't been sprung on them. The club knew the risks of what they were doing and they've got pretty much all of the big decisions wrong along the way. Removing Rudkin alone won't solve this, a lot of this comes from Top and Whelan as well. Unfortunately the incompetence and disregard runs deep in every area of the club. King Power Out.
