Am I going mad? When I watched him last night (and I made a point of watching him closely) , I swear on my life, when the ball went out wide (i.e. just prior to a cross) he was checking his runs by a fraction of a second so as to almost...but not quite, be in the right place when the ball was played in*. Maybe I'm imagining it, but I think his confidence is so shot, he is deliberately not quite being in the right place, because he fears he'll miss the chance. He gives the impression of working reasonably hard, but after years of us being spoiled by having Jamie Vardy’s movement up front, you watch Patson and he's making some strange, almost counter-intuitive movements. I counted at least 4 occasions in which he was racing towards the 6 yard box before inexplicably slowing his stride and instead being 8 or 9 yards out - essentially not putting himself where it matters. That's worrying for me. I genuinely think he's trying to perfect the art of almost being on the end of it every time. He's effectively hiding in plain sight. *not that any of Thomas' crosses were any good anyway

I completely agree with this. He seems like a nice guy, willing to give everyone an opportunity....which isn't necessarily what was needed right now. The squad is full of lazy, overpaid *****, it needs someone to rip into them. To be fair, Maresca had that edge to him, I hope Marti does or you're dead right, he'll get eaten alive and we'll be in an even worse position.

I don't know whether to be worried because his first half tactics were so off in both games, or encouraged by the fact he fixed at HT twice reasonably effectively. Funnily enough, after a whole two games, I'm remaining neutral.

I genuinely believe it's immaterial who is manager with the absolute ****ing clowns we have 'running' our football club. The administration of the club is so woeful, it creates nothing but extra problems for whoever was in the role.

Maybe I'm defending him without reason, but I wonder if there the Soumare / Skipp thing is because there's stuff going on behind the scenes with Winks. Effectively, his hands are tied. Might be complete wrong.

£80k a week. He symbolises everything that is stinking rotten with this club. He's the epitome of the mismanagement. Before someone says 'he was good in the first half', well he wasn't in the ****ing second half. Hasn't put in a decent 90 minutes in 4 ****ing years. An absolute disgrace. I absolutely loathe him.

I don't think we need to be getting too excited about a promotion push. That was Huddersfield's reserves FFS. The mismanagement of the club is really biting us now. A squad full of shit players on massive wages. Our decent players will be gone by the end of the month. We're putting too much pressure on young players, too soon. Everytime you think it can't get worse, Rudders and Top manage to do just that. Words cannot describe how much I loathe those two *****.
