  1. Ya know that film Groundhog Day .......... Coming up to 250 pages of it now 😂
  2. Never change, Rumble
  3. I'd be happy with Corberan or Potter. I do think Potter's achievements are slightly overrated though. He was good at Brighton, but not amazing - I certainly don't think he's too good for us.
  4. It's also worth noting that, all the things that frustrate a lot of us about Top - Slow to react when things are going wrong - Hugely reluctant to sack managers no matter how bad it gets! - Not always holding staff to account in the way he probably should - Awarding huge contracts to managers - Awarding even bigger contracts to keep managers ...these are all the things you want as a manager! Top is the dream chairman in a lot of ways!
  5. Absolutely. I think he'll be looking beyond the possible points deduction and next season, to what the club might look like the in the future. He'll also know that half the league face potential points deductions, albeit some time after we cop ours.
  6. I'd be happy with Potter. I know there's the complications to consider, however, I reckon if the personal terms are good, he'll probably take it. I'm not so sure those other factors (FFP etc) are as significant for an incoming manager as we fans might think. If its a decent contract, he'll take it. Especially after being unemployed for a year.
  7. To be fair, we need someone to take us Out of the Sinking
  8. Other than the fact that he's both shite and a right back, I agree that Johnson would be an ideal left back for us.
  9. Didier N'Dong in midfield. This team is coming* together nicely *pardon the pun
  10. Is David Goodwillie still playing? A midfield of Smallbone, Longstaff and Goodwillie is the stuff of dreams.
  11. I don't want to alarm anyone, but.....
  12. Because they're just not making enough money already, and who cares about the planet eh?
  13. At least the Euros won't be on Channel 4
  14. Side to side world champions
  15. It's only a friendly. Not sure it'll have any major bearing on what actually happens at the Euros. Players mostly not wanting to get injured.
  16. Good test this for England
  17. I love this man
  18. Wayne Rooney is almost as good a pundit as he is a manager
  19. Really disappointed to see Dennis leave
  20. Hard to know how we get ourselves into the financial mire we're in. It's a real mystery.
  21. I don't think that's actually accurate. He said he wanted to stay when we got relegated - it was the club that decided to loan him out. I've also heard rumours that it was the players already at the club who blanked him as soon as he arrived because he was coming in to take Luke Thomas' position and LT is a popular member of the squad - which I can believe.
  22. Completely agree. Dunk was overlooked when he was playing really well, and has now been included when his form is iffy. He was horrendous in that game against Belgium. I thought that Branthwaite would get in as he's quick and offers a left-footed option. Maybe Southgate felt he wasn't quite mature enough? The CB options are a definite concern.
