As horrendous as the injury is and we all wish him well and hes able to play again, that could have happened at any point. Can't people see it as a freak accident that has rarely happened before? For me the spotlight should be on the medical staff for allowing him to carry on, not the offside. If a player is in that much pain, I would take him off. A persons health is more important than a game of football every time. The law was followed, but you can't account for something like that to happen at the start. If he had scored and was actually onside, then there wouldn't be an argument.
