Looks like our 9-0 is safe? Have they slowed down?
-
So good you had to say it twice

I agree, they did look like there confidence dropped off a cliff and even Ward looked like he was bobbing himself when he came on. If confident in that wouldn't have been 4-0 with Mads in goal. But this was added to a midfield who didn't want to tackle...at all and that leaves you vulnerable as a defender.

I'm convinced with our run in that we'll be in the bottom 3 after Xmas. Wolves changing their manager might be enough to sort them out, Ipswich are competing more as the season progresses. We just have to do whatever to keep our head above water. The only thing we have in advantage is I think we'll spend in Jan. I don't think Ipswich will as they went big in the summer, and they'll be fine if they go down. Southampton are cut adrift for me, Wolves may give funds to the new man in charge, but not sure they want to spend big. I can see us going all in. If we don't were screwed anyway if we go down, and probably even more so then ever.

Danny ward or White lightning

Look at his positioning for all of the 3. 4th one is criminal for a professional goalkeeper. 2nd one, I'll give as he was caught cold. But third and fourth he could and should have done better. But he wasn't the sole issue, he compounded the issue. The real frustration is with the midfield 1 tackle between 2 supposed CDMs is criminal. Hamza not a single tackle won. That's the main issue, but not having a solid keeper means it was made easier. With Mads, it wouldn't be 4-0

Forest win and are 4th, Ipswich win and are 2pts behind us and we get humiliated by 4-0 and have our best player come off injured. I thought Friday 13th was yesterday!!!!

The 4th is on Ward. For a professional keeper to have that stance when you have a player baring down on you is criminal. He was standing like he was waiting for a bus! But I agree with your point. The midfield was more of the problem. With Ndidi and Soumare, it may have been better. But not great. The team wasn't connected and that was the weakness today. I lost count the mount of times he was ball watching -
Need to win Wth Man City, Liverpool and Aston Villa coming up. In any of those we'll get slaughtered. I expect to be In the bottom 3 in beginning of 2025

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

It's not who we played, it's how we played. You couldn't pick anyone else but I would expect 2 defensive midfielders to be able to tackle, or at least be able to win the ball back. The fact they didn't is rather poor. So it isn't the selection. If that makes more sense. -

I can take a loss, but it's the way you lose and today was spineless. For 2 defensive midfielders to hardly win a tackle is not going to help anyone. Also going from a Rolls Royce to a rust bucket mini metro that has no steering wheel for a keeper is really bad -

I think I'd prefer Rudkin on goal rather than Ward

Just make it stop

Just get out! Honestly, you're not a premier league, championship or League one Keeper. Just get out
-
This!

We want our Harvey back!
-
I think you're reading too much into it. He maybe ill. It seems everyone is at the moment for one reason or another. He definitely would have started.
-
But according to Lennon, we need to look at our keeper and replace him!
-
He wouldn't come, would he? He's playing champions league and playing for a top club in Dutchland. Change that for a relegation fight. I mean, I'd take him but just can't see him agreeing to the move

Should have done a fox rather than a goat
-
Did you not see players bouncing off him at Ipswich and against Brighton? He's a unit, and with confidence will come the ability to stamp his authority in the midfield.
