Winks (as he did at Leeds) looked really lightweight at times. Thank god Ndidi is back; we need some more physicality in the midfield. Fatawu MOTM. Thought Doyle and Coady also played well. Vardy very good first half. it’s great to win but the performance was worrying. Why do we take our foot off the gas once we get a goal and allow teams to creep back into games? Must be Manager tactics.

Well it’s a matter of opinion on whether someone is ‘shirking’ ‘sulking’ etc. Not much more he could do yesterday. Maybe not his best game but certainly wasn’t for lack of effort.

Felt sorry for him yesterday. He’s expected to make something happen every time he gets the ball. It’s not easy to continually beat your full back when often given the ball from a standing start. Same with Abdul. Far too much reliance on the wingers to create our chances.

Just play him. He keeps scoring Cannon 7 Joke from Enzo to play him wide left. He was hopeless there but very good once in his proper position. He’s a threat all the time and a lovely assist. Manager made some huge mistakes today I thought Cannon out wide was ridiculous; he didn’t know what he was doing and was totally wasted out there Then to take Fatawu off for Yunus was almost as bizarre. Left us with no wingers and no width Then took off the best player in the division (not having his best game, but still) so we had no creativity down the middle either Have to say, Vardy’s goal was exceptional again. Perfect ball through from Cannon and what a finish, I don’t know how he continues to do this at his age. Both of them are miles better than Daka Not too worried, bad day at the office for our key men (KDH and Ricardo) and the boss. Next game will be better

Mostly 6s and 7s but a 4 for Praet. He’s so half hearted most of the time. It’s clear he doesn’t want to be here. Thought Yunus was good when he came on, even without the bonus of his goal.

Tom Cannon is going to be absolutely top class but boy must he get fed up playing in our slow possession based game at times. No idea why we can’t hit the channels a bit more and move the ball more quickly. It’s so frustrating

It’s hard not to get excited about him. Maybe we (finally) have our Vardy replacement.

Terrible defending. Premier league sides don’t tend to defend that badly. Unless it’s Amartey Soyuncu with Brendan Rodgers in charge that is.

I can’t stop thinking about Tom Cannon 🤣

Loved both his goals. First one is Harry Kane style- instinctive, powerful, first time shot. Second was even better, shrugs the defender off before cooly slotting it away. His movement was great all game, he made so many runs that we often didn’t spot but that will take time and improve once the players get used to his game.

Jordan Blackwell gave Hamza a 5 in the Merc. What on earth was he watching. I thought Hamza was outstanding.

Played well when he came on.

He might do, yes. But the other two haven’t exactly been great this season either. I’ve been saying it for 3 years, a centre forward is an absolute priority for us. Vardy is too old now.

Them two being available should be irrelevant. He’s earned his starting 11 place next game.
