He’s literally strolling back towards his own goal. He doesn’t care and has had more than enough chances to convince otherwise. I’d honestly rather chuck a youth player in there than give him another opportunity

I would say Buonanotte, Winks, Fatawu showed glimpses that they were at least interested. The rest of them were passengers. A truly disgraceful performance, worst of the season for me. Soumare and Faes for the third goal- I would never pick either of them again if I was in charge. They couldn’t care less.

Correct. Also, some good momentum going into a massive game if we play well tonight and get a result. Cooper binned the game off. Simple as that.

If I hear the words ‘free hit’ it makes me want to scream. No professional game of sport is a free hit. Cooper has gone down massively in my estimations tonight. £47 a ticket, 200 odd mile round trip to watch an mis matched patched up side in a game he’s totally binned off from the start. Disgrace.

Forest a proper good Premier League side. Good back 4, physicality in midfield, fast, direct wingers and some physicality up front. We are largely a team of midgets and it really showed in the second half. I’ve thought for years now we need more physicality in the team, especially up front. Vardy had a great first half, rolled back the years. How he needs some support around him though when up against big strong centre backs. We just don’t have anyone.

They were both excellent, but were largely 1 v 1 every time they got the ball due our silly ‘inverted full back’ role that we are simply not good enough to play. It left our back 3 too exposed down the wide areas. Fatawu and Mavididi were very well managed by Forest. Often had 2/3 players surrounding them every time they got the ball. The big positive was Fatawu kept going, he never gives in. I pray he doesn’t get left out next weekend.

Nowt so odd as football fans and differing opinions. I thought he was brilliant against Bournemouth- one of the hardest working players on the pitch for us that day. Then scores the winner against our relegation rivals. Not a bad couple of weeks for him!

This is what’s going to cost us this season. We have an old Vardy who just isn’t up to it at this level week in week out, and a replacement that is worse. It’s so bad I’m actually looking forward to Daka coming back. At least he’ll add some physicality up there for us and move defenders around a bit. It really is desperate stuff.

The squad wasn’t really final until the transfer window closed though, was it. Poor recruitment over the last 2/3 years means the squad is lacking quality. Going to take some effort to stay up.

Yeah you make good points (Although I think Solanke is a top striker) Agree he needs to be more bold but it’s so early and I also think he’s got no idea what his best side is currently. I just think it’s a bit early to be demanding a Manager is sacked after 5 games. I’ll probably have changed my tune by 5pm when we’ve been trounced at the Emirates 😂

10 goals would be super human from him, but he can do it. He’s not the problem, the problem is we have no one else as good as him and he’s nearly 38 with limitations to his game. Someone said earlier that Palace are no better than us. Ridiculous. They’ve got a brut in Mateta, a young hungry striker who moves all over the place in Nketiah and Eze. We’re nowhere near that. The other 2 forwards we have are their rejects! We have Daka to come back and he ain’t up to it either.

Agree. Great goal. But the all round game you need from a striker at this level is beyond his reach. You need to run the channels, give options, pull defenders out of position, have a physical presence. It’s not his fault he can’t do it by the way, the standards he sets at his age are ridiculous. We have no one close to his levels, even at 37.That’s the issue. You can’t tell me this wasn’t something Cooper didn’t want to sort in the summer.

Maybe we do but it’s been 5 games. Not very long. Who really knows? Wolves Palace and Everton 100% have better strikers than we do and that’s the hardest thing we will face to overcome; scoring enough goals.

Maybe yeah. But surely more than 5 games should be given to him to see if he’s the one to do it. He did at Forest.

Haven’t asked anyone to do anything. Just said in my opinion, he doesn’t have a huge amount of Premier League standard players.

Totally agree. We need to see his style of play. But it’s been 5 league games. Not sure anyone could do better with this lot. I was heavily critical of his Walsall first 11. Luke Thomas is not a footballer. Soumare can’t be arsed to be here so why pick him. But… he kept Forest up with a similar ability squad. I just think we should give him more time.
