  1. He wasnt and I’m not saying it’s Vardy’s fault either. He’s 38 and for him to be our only option week in week out up front is quite frankly a disgrace from the club. Sterling played wide left , he went offside a lot and was pretty crap but ignore him and you’ve still got Trossard, Nwaneri, Merino, Odegaard etc to do something. Vardy is basically our only hope of scoring a goal and he wasted our best two attacks. It’s not his fault, he’s too old! So sad to see him like this
  2. He wasn’t as bad as Vardy.
  3. Play El Khannouss, Buonanotte, Mavididi, Daka and go for it, we win.
  4. If we had some attacking threat we might have got a point So sad to see Vardy going out like this. Saliba and Gabriel won’t have an easier afternoon all season Slight improvement from the team and surely RVN picks Mavididi and Buonanotte from the get go on Friday night
  5. A bit in and out. Didn’t start first few but then got a start against Man Utd. Then went on a run, then left out again, then came back to the run in. 34 apps but 8 as sub.
  6. I love Pearson, but he was picking the wrong team quite a lot that season. As soon as he started regularly playing Vardy and Albrighton, it clicked and we showed our quality. There is not even a tiny glimmer of hope this season; our back 4 is awful and we won’t score enough goals. The striker situation is beyond ridiculous
  7. At least he’s got some pace which is kind of what you need when under the cosh and playing on the break…..
  8. Vardy the better finisher, Daka the more difficult to mark as he actually runs the channels and puts himself about. Neither anywhere near good enough, though.
  9. Because we sold him to Sheffield Utd and I bet £200 to anyone he’ll score more goals next season than Daka will for us.
  10. He absolutely is. Him and Luke are the worst two players at the club. The fact we’ve turned down the chance to move either of these two on is absolutely staggering.
  11. Awful attitude- don’t want to see him here next season.
  12. Reminds me of Muzzy
  13. The only player who looked bothered on Saturday was Bilal EK and Ruud decided to sub him off for a League 2 player.
  14. Second half, Ayew got the ball in a good position on the right hand side. Crying out for the striker to make a run into the channel to support, and Vardy didn’t move. It isn’t Vardy’s fault. He is 38 and has to stay very central, minimise runs to conserve energy for finishes in the box when we need him. HOWEVER do any other clubs rely on a 38 year old striker week in week out, playing 90 mins?! No. Most other strikers at this level are physical, they win balls in the air, they hold the ball up and most importantly, they pull players out of position by making runs. Vardy can’t do any of it. Not his fault, but how on earth is he our main man at his age? Absolute scandal from a recruitment point of view that he’s our only option. Hes our best ever, he’s super human, but he’s one of our biggest problems.
  15. Well he hasn’t had long but you cannot possibly compare any of the above with the current crop of centre halves we have! All streets ahead. Walsh and Elliott in particular. I would be interested to see how we’d be doing if Enzo had stayed however. Maybe RVN isn’t the right man, but this squad to me just aren’t good enough. Nowhere near.
  16. How is he supposed to make Vestergaard, Okoli, Faes, Coady any better? Genuine q. None of them are good enough for this level. You can’t polish a turd as they say.
  17. Did he choose the summer transfers, though? I remember several interviews he gave in pre season saying we didn’t have enough players. Ayew hasn’t been a disaster but Skipp, Okoli are £40m of a total waste of money. Vardy is also a problem, has been for a few seasons. It’s like none of us are allowed to say it, but he is. He’s the main man which means we never seem to be able to prioritise this position as no striker wants to come here and play second fiddle to him. He’s incredible for his age and clearly our greatest ever, but he cannot press the defence and it affects the whole way we play. To be starting with him week in week out because we have no other viable option is scandalous.
  18. I think the football is a little better under RVN, I haven’t said anywhere Cooper was any better. I just think it’s an impossible job for any Manager to keep a side up who have centre half options of Coady Okoli Vestergaard and Faes plus only one decent striker who is 38. Add the Fatawu and Ricardo injuries, the total loss of form of Justin, the fact we lost our best centre mid in KDH as well. It’s an impossible task.
  19. Cooper and RVN both stood no chance with this squad.
  20. Don’t think we’ve got a chance? Unless you’re one of those Leicester CITY fans who refers to Manchester City as City (so annoying !!!!!!!!)
  21. Terrible from JJ but Ayew does absolutely nothing to help him either. Very poor from both players.
  22. Yep. The most one footed player I’ve ever seen. But it’s not his fault. Local lad, doing his best. It’s shameful of the club that he’s the back up left back when we are a Premier League side. And he’s not the only bad one we have in the squad, there’s plenty.
  23. As bad as Justin is, I don’t agree.
  24. He’s woeful. Like a little boy out there.
