Far more likely Enzo walks than is sacked. The team likely know we are screwed if we get promoted. All the financial issues give him a perfect excuse to bail without damage to his reputation. The things is, if we had players good enough for this style it would likely work. We have a squad easily good enough to get promoted but really not good enough for the Prem. Enzo ball for the last 8 games isn’t going to achieve promotion. Maybe he should give Cambiasso a call for guidance, I mean it supposedly worked for old Nige 🤣🤣🤣

It will be the same. Ricky P likely, Daka for Vardy hopefully. Rest will be pretty much the same. Approach will be the same. Outcome likely other same. Mind you it would be typical Leicester to get a great result, raise expectations again and then let us all down even harder.

It’s not rocket science. Teams have sussed us and seen how to nullify us. Add in to that the fact we are so slow that any potential advantage gained from our mind numbing passing game is gone by the time we reach the final 3rd of the pitch. Yesterday Bristol doubled up on our wingers and rarely did we see them go past the last man. Usually teams are back behind the ball and we have to then find a way through 10 and even all 11 on occasion. It is turgid robotic football that has strangled the creativity, drive and passion out of every player. There is never any urgency. continue like this and we are done. Simple.

Sadly football is reflecting the world around us quite accurately.

You mean his Minnie me?

I have to say I think it’s a function of the football they’re asked to play. It’s so rigid and structured you might as well employ robots. No wonder teams have sussed us, it’s mind numbing. If the players are coached to play like that no matter what, then where does the fire and passion and drive come from? It can’t because they HAVE to play it back and sideways. They HAVE to stick to the system. I still maintain that any half competent manager could have done what Enzo has this season and likely better. Our squad IS good enough.
-
Strangely I’m not in the Enzo out camp IF he can show some imagination and adaptability. Trouble is it’s like a compressed Rodgers experience - flying for a start, playing some good football, then straight off a cliff for absolutely no discernible reason. Sure teams have sussed how to stifle us, but our players, on paper are way better. I think old Enzo needs to give big Nige a call. unfortunately I can only see this going one way now and it seems most on here have finally realised it too. The thing is our esteemed owner and his incompetent henchfolk will take until June 21st to realise it.
-
It’s a cliche now, but if you want to go up you have to show some pashun innit!!! Trouble is our system begets arrogance and passivity. Tail end of a championship promotion push that is not what is required. Enzo hasn’t got the balls to change things and wouldn’t know what to change things too anyway.

Might be time to stop calling Spurs the bottlers. The crown has been taken.

I didn’t want to be right but I said early January that I could see trouble coming and felt that we would bottle it. As usual I was ridiculed and shot down, just like the time when we missed out on Champion's League. I said that that would be the start of a rapid decline. If I could see it, why can’t those paid millions to run us? It’s an absolute travesty. We have thrown away certain promotion sticking to a system that EVERYONE had found out. Ahh well, be different next season with academy players and whoever is left of our gutted squad. Sometimes following this club is unnecessarily painful.
-
You are seeing the final collapse happening before your eyes. We are done.
-
You know they will.
-
Yes, don't be too offended, many posters on FT do like a player to hound unnecessarily. Soumare didn’t hit any heights with us, but her certainly isn’t as bad as many make out. Likely better suited to Spanish and Italian football better. I’d take him back personally and see what Enzo could do with him.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
ARM1968 replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Champions League money is significant still. I was talking more about league prize money. Reverse the tiering. But I do get what you mean. Money in football needs a radical rethink to at least lessen the slope of difference if not level the playing field. It would make the game far more interesting. Most teams now just aspire to remain in the Premier League. Few can really dream of the sort of miracle we encountered and that’s a little sad. -
Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'

It is basically a system designed to maintain the status quo. Almost impossible to fly high enough to compete with the big boys without your wings melting. The big teams have far more revenue and so are insulated to a degree. I wonder what would happen if you reversed the prize money, so that winning the Prem was for winnings sake and not for the money? Probably stupid and liable to cause a mad scramble to the bottom, but we need a radical rethink as the divide between clubs is just getting wider and wider. -
I tell you what happens, we take the money and get relegated again. Sort our finances out properly and go again, far weaker on the pitch but more stable financially. Least we won the FA Cup.
-
Ruskin isn’t going anywhere sadly. Top leans on him too much. The weasel has burrowed in deep and Too hasn’t got the balls or the vision to get rid of the joker. So we are stuck with him.
-
IF we get promoted, and I’m by no means sure we will, we simply won’t be able to afford the investment required to make Enzoball work. Probably better to take the money, balance the books and accept our fate. This whole sorry episode is entirely down to missing champions league twice and the utter mismanagement of wages and contracts. Top clearly cannot see the issues and they are obvious.
-
This was all predicted by some here the moment we failed to secure champions league the 2nd time. It’s ok though, we won the FA Cup. Well, the fall has been hard and may get harder yet.
-
Did you see a swallow? Is it summer?
-
That needs to start with the players.
-
It’s in our hands. We have the players. I think we go back to 1st and stay there.

Almost nobody I imagine. Sell yes. Maybe a couple of very low key purchases and a few loans. That will be it. -

Better second half no doubt. Helped by the own goal. Gulf in class is astonishing still. Don’t care. Let’s get promoted and worry about next season and all its shenanigans when it comes. -
With 10 men against Chelsea? Yeah.
