  1. No it won't. We're asking for the most basic level of transparency which they refuse to give us. Basic business that the person at the top shoulders the blame.
  2. I like the catchphrase. Though it would probably help if you understood your own point
  3. Seen all of them now and there's mostly good ones in there so completely agree that I'd have ditched the valentine's thing and the tracksuit. Regardless, fair play and big respect to @ozvaldo for putting his money where his mouth is and actually getting the ball moving. There's enough of a coordinated effort and a clear message that this will have an impact, in the right way (assuming some bellends don't ruin it today)
  4. So they can do it again? We had the most catastrophic relegation in PL history and then did absolutely f all to make proper structural changes, so why an earth would you have any faith that they would actually get it right and be willing to take action? They'd only be doing based on the PR nightmare and even if they appointed somebody brilliant, they wouldn't give them the tools to be successful.
  5. But how do you do that in a meaningful way on the side of a moving billboard? I don't disagree with you and maybe Project Reset needs a pre-prepared statement to back up the actions today.
  6. I'm kind of with you but given it's a moving billboard, it's needs to be something impactful that people remember. The crap bit will be if Rudkin endures all this abuse and he's had limited involvement or oversight in all these messes. But ultimately that will be Top's fault for providing us with 0 transparency as to what Rudkin actually does, and being the coward who hid behind Rudkin as he's left there like a pariah to take all the flak
  7. God forbid somebody suggests a player thay turns out to be a disappointing signing. I think everyone should only ever suggest players that they can absolutely guarantee will be one of the best players in the league... Just so boring when people make that Tete joke all the time, as though there weren't plenty of other people championing him. Ric doesn't need me to defend him and I'm sure he'd admit that some of his recommendations are a bit 'football hipster' or far too much of an unknown quantity but the embarrassing thing is, even just by throwing out all these names, he's presenting more of a coherent strategy than the clowns in our recruitment team can come up with. Buy low and spread the risk on a few players in the hope that some of them come off and we then sell for big money. Better than pissing away £20m on players who never get a look in. And on Tete, the stupid thing is that for how underwhelming he was, he still actually improved our squad since we decided to not have a single other player who could play wide on the right. We had to shunt our best player out there for most of the season. Yet another example of the quality recruitment work we did. Signing some players on loan where there is minimal financial impact is absolutely better than not signing anyone which was his point. What if 1 out say 3 loan signings was actually decent (not amazing, just decent), that would improve our chances of staying up, and consequently massively help the financial situation. The mistake with Edouard is that he used up a domestic loan slot, and the leadership team being the morons they are, decided not to get a loan cancelled clause in there. EDIT: @Ric Flair Just wanted to tag Ric to let him know that I actually think he's a complete p**** and was only using him to get my point across
  8. Right... I knew Ric was actually Rudkin. Regardless, no idea what your point actually was. Even massively contributed to one of the few wins we picked up. Signing absolutely nobody isn't going to improve your chances is it?
  9. And why are they sworn to secrecy? That is utter nonsense. Yet another example for the leadership at this club being absolutely unable to take accountability and face the music. It's also another PR move that will backfire as it just makes them look like cowards. Plus you have the Foxes Trust supposedly being the ones that are holding them to account; the same organisation that has repeatedly failed to do that. Shambles
  10. What does that actually mean? What is a 'Tete situation'?
  11. Beat me to it
  12. Love the last paragraph. Says that other people think they're running the club whilst simultaneously claiming that he's telling other people 'how it works'. The irony/hypocrisy could not be any better.
  13. The actual figure is higher than that as well because it's missing the likes of Evans, Amartey etc. Some of those are understandable that they went on a free and we probably got decent value for them but letting Tielemans/Soyuncu go on a free when we could have turned a huge profit on most is galling. Then you've got the likes of Perez, Silva, and Slimani where we absolutely should have got some money for them, and done so long before they left on a free
  14. Ah. To be fair, they've somehow managed to ruin things for loyal, local and further afield fans. Got to give them some credit for that.
  15. Let's be fair, you deserved it for such awful wordplay... They should have given you a free ST for opening their eyes to the reality of the situation
  16. One of the replies in @Dan's post, somebody was genuinely blaming Rudkin as though he's the one instigating this stuff . Bored of saying it, but nothing really changes unless Top/KP go. They'll just get some other lackey in to replace Rudkin
  17. Why local? You think they don't do things to alienate those fans from further afield?
  18. Yet if there is any 'customer' who has an increased right to moan of voice dissent, it's the supporter of a sports team. They are the very heart and soul of that team (business), no matter how much it's commercialised. Might be crap a lot of the time, but Leicester City is a part of everyone on this forum's identity, in a way that our consumption of other goods/services is not.
  19. Almost have to laugh at this. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you. Our club is not alone in this I'm sure, but it's just utter madness that they do this kind of thing
  20. Which is exactly what the players are currently doing. Bring some young guys into the mix and you could completely change the energy of the team, and even get lucky with 1 or 2 who actually help us win matches. Not saying we should play loads and make them first team regulars but we are absolutely awful at giving young players a chance. People will point to some of the lads that have come through in the past 10 years but I'm talking about the number of players that are given 5-10 cameo appearances before we make a decision. Instead they just rot at reserve team level, never getting that chance or even being sent out on loan.
  21. Don't be such a damp squid
  22. But he did actually offer something different in that we got in/nearly got a few times, from a simple clip over the top, something that doesn't happen with Vardy atm. We need to find a way of turning opposition defences round and he at least did that. Of course he's not a long term solution but some people seem blinded to our situation, and the reality is that he's all we've got so might as well be utilised.
  23. Of course not but why not make it into a massive drama? Not like we haven't got a million other things to (rightfully) whinge about.
  24. . He's an absolute ****. Genuinely scummy. Remember him smashing up David Forde's face with an elbow and then laughing when asked about it in the post match interview.
