To an extent yes. Brook was in cruise control but fair enough because that's how he played to get us there. But look at Bethall, Smith and even Root to an extent and they were all nothing shots that basically gave it away.

Did you watch it? We got ourselves into a fantastic position, but almost all the wickets came from poor batting rather than great bowling. We then allowed them to build the pressure and paid the price.

Fair play to India but we lost that game. From dropping 6 catches to complete capitulation.

Huh? Yeah it does and I think it's a decent system. Just pointing out that the principle of umpiring is to give the decision when you are certain (or at least extremely confident) that it will be out. Kumar clearly wasn't sure and buckled to the pressure for which I don't blame him. Great bowling from Siraj but very unlucky for Overton.

When he was a million miles off his best form as well. Not on Ricardo's level (who was frankly ridiculous) but I do think people forget how incredible he was the season he got injured. Played every position in a 3 or 4 except for in a back 2 and was excellent in all of them. As I understand it, he was an absolute shoe in for the England squad that summer and likely the first choice at left back.

Nigel Pearson who famously never got too up or down about his team's performance (would redirect his ire towards the press). Certainly wouldn't have been calling out all the players in the first couple of games in charge.

Is there a way you can legally remove somebody as you brother? Might want to look into it if that's the quality of his judgement

Lots of people answering with players they disliked AFTER they left us, so that doesn't really count (though the wording in the OP talks about players leaving under a cloud so would be good to know what the actual question is). Can't think of a player I properly disliked when they played for us who was actually good. Generally, if they were decent, that started to override any real dislike on a personal level.
