Not sure! Because at 16, you still can't sign a pro contract, so unless that means that under 16 you can move wherever but when you get to 16 you can only sign pro terms with another club on the date you're eligible for a pro contract?

It's my biggest gripe. Not necessarily the number of players making the grade but we are woeful when it comes to giving lads 5/10 games to see if they have something about them. Wouldn't be so bad if we were really proactive with getting loans sorted, but we're shocking at that as well. People will point to the likes of Barnes, Chilwell, KDH, Thomas and Choudhury as evidence we do something right, but those are basically the only guys who have ever been given a chance to play (and most after loan spells). Imagine how many more you might have if you actually took the chance?

You correctly call them inept so by the same token, do you think they'd have the competence to understand anything with the slightest bit of nuance? KP out is a direct challenge and one they need to hear. Lots of the project reset stuff (incorrectly) focused on Rudkin which is easy for Top to palm off as stupid football fans not knowing what they're talking about. And the worst bit about that, is that he could be absolutely right since we have no idea what Rudkin actually does or who makes the day to day decisions. But what we do know is that Top is ultimately responsible for everything and he's struggles with criticism so demanding KP leave will hurt him more than you think.

The commercial failing is the worst of the lot. Not suggesting you'd get Man United sponsorship levels but even the most incompetent business person/marketeer/sales person should have been able to get some pretty big deals in place, even during the run-in of the title success when we it looked like we were going to do it. Shocking that we were always so low down on the sponsorship tables. You only have to look at the decision to put the stadium upgrade after seagrave to see that the commercial side has never come easy to anyone involved in this ownership.

But they (Vichai) wanted a new man (as most owners do) and tried to go down the big names path which failed. They had the humility to go back to the guy they had binned off and obviously gave him big reassurances that he could run it his way so big evidence they had learnt from their mistakes? As I said, it's not like every decision made was the correct one but the vast majority of them were, even off the pitch. What big decisions gave you cause for concern by 2016? I'm not saying for a second that we had all that success because of Vichai but I'd be more more sympathetic to that view than the idea that we had success in spite of him. That's just a nonsense view.

No surprise that there's so much revisionism here as everything has to be black and white. There also seems to be some kind of expectation that owners cannot make mistakes and everything must be perfect which is obviously a reaction to what's happening now. Vichai made plenty of mistakes but he showed a willingness to learn from that. Of course everything aligned perfectly for us to have the success we did but it's completely disingenuous to suggest that we just got lucky. Clearly things had been done well. Doesn't mean to say that it wasn't going to go south soon but you can't suggest that he wasn't a good owner. Perfect? Of course not but compare him to others around and there really haven't been many better. It's important to then separate the ownership under Top. Pretty much every decision they've made has been the wrong one, big or small and managed to piggyback on the work of others before his took charge.

This tagline is the one so hopefully something to rally around, whilst still calling individuals out, just not in some of the childish ways that people choose to on the van. Though I guess time is limited as we probably won't have premier ambitions for a while yet Would happily contribute.

Not really the case in the championship though. The average wage has sky rocketed and there's lots of players earning a £m+ every year. Even Cardiff will have several players earning that much so don't think it's such an issue.

At this point, I am staggered when people watch our games and can't see that the full backs (today wing backs) have the most impossible job. They have been asked to defend 2/3 players on their own and provide all the attacking width, particularly in Justin's (right hand side) case. Obviously he's had a poor season but Ricardo in his prime would get ripped to shreds in this team.

Yep, because we're saw so many of them given a chance last year. Wanya was in because we had no other options then he was done, Nelson did really well in the handful of games he played but barley featured. No Alves or Braybrooke even when fit. McAteer the only guy to feature properly and he was 22 so not super young. Had a much better team than everyone else so slotting in more youngsters should have been possible. I absolutely do not expect to see a Leicester squad with 4-5 18 years as key members of it, but the amount of chances we give to young players is abysmal. How many cup games do we sit through, frustrated that we've only got 1 or 2 academy players on the bench with none in the starting lineup, and then we're lucky if one of those lads gets 5 mins. That's absolutely no pathway. On top of that, we have so many players that just rot in youth team football with no first team loan until they're about 21, so you've massively destroyed their development. The depressing thing is that, baser on evidence, Monga would absolutely have a better chance of breaking through at Man City than here. That's crazy on every level. I don't think it's about us ensuring that we're making a new youngster a key player every season, but we have to be less conservative in our approach. That means giving lads 5-10 cameo appearances to see if they can make it and then being really proactive in getting loans. So many talented players who will never play professionally and that's because of their mentality (which isn't tested until they get a chance) and mainly down to timing/luck.
