Assume you meant Nations league and not the National League (non-league)!

Definitely should do this. I'm not fussed by the delay (and always a good thing to remove the temptation of playing 'life destruction simulator' ) but the fact they haven't even shown anything of the actual game, even a couple of mins at this point is worrying and piss poor in terms of transparency. Even shifting the release date by so much for an annual release, just a few weeks after a delay, is a real concern. With the way gamers are these days, there's serious potential for irreparable damage to the franchise the way this is going.

Definitely. A place for all of them but you just can't beat that seesaw change that can happen after 3/4 days of a tight game -

Incredible stuff. Considering the pitch and the 1st innings score from Pakistan, this would be one of the great test victories. We might be inconsistent and have some shocking series in general, but the ability to produce some of the best test wins is incredible. -
Not true. He's broken that law because he always makes a big mistake at least once a game, whether that be giving the ball away, being in the wrong position or even just awful decision making, that normally leads to a clear cut chance. He's broken the curse Was absolutely awesome today
-
You thought we played reasonably well? Really. A win's a win but Bournemouth were awful and still cut us open time and again whilst we offered very little going forward.
-
I was pretty neutral about Cooper when we appointed him but he's burnt all the free passes we had. Today might be the worst win I've ever seen. Wasn't even like it was a great backs to the wall performance, just negative and clueless. The standard of the football from both sides was atrocious yet we still gave up so many chances whilst creating next to none of our own. How he possibly decided that we only needed to make a change in the 70th min and didn't even use the full allocation is utterly bizarre. Normally a win gives you some belief but I feel like this will have done very little in that regard

Good one. Maybe in 20 mins time.

Quality of this game is absolutely woeful

So definitely being screwed by the PL on these decisions

I love how people project their own opinions as a factually correct history. Absolutely loads of people were very impressed with him when he played last season and frustrated that he was the completed discarded when the other strikers were back. Then even more frustrated that he barely featured in pre season. Then again when he wasn't even involved in games when we had 1 fit striker. Only football fans. How good he'll be, who knows but it's clear that his movement and finishing are outstanding and would have preferred him to stay here and actually get some game time ahead of Edouard/Daka (when he's back).

Dragon Age is probably my favourite game franchise. Looks like there's plenty of things to potentially be concerned about but like you, I think at worst, it's still going to be a 7/10 (which is an automatic 9 for personal preference). Actually delighted about the combat as I much prefer action combat and having replayed them all recently, Inquisition's was neither one thing nor the other. I don't think it will be amazing but if the story, characters, lore are on point, and the combat is decent that will elevate the game. I've got over the art style now and don't think I'll care about it once I get playing. Frustrating that the marketing has been absolutely awful for the game and has just allowed YouTubers and the like to hammer the game for being childish and woke etc. So want to block that out a bit. Previews (which not entirely reliable) were extremely positive across the board so let's hope it's a good as that. Been counting down the days for months now which considering I've got engaged, been to the Olympics, on another holiday and planning a wedding, probably shows I'm unreasonably excited . Haven't really been excited for a game for a couple of years and the last game I was this excited for was Inquisition, which ended up being my most disappointing game ever. Not because it was bad but more because it took ages to feel like Dragon Age and the pacing was atrocious. Let's hope this fairs better!

Well yes, we have produced players; not saying that we haven't. My point was more that it's all or nothing as an academy player. You either get a run of games and stay at the club or they never even feature. Every cup game against LL teams and there's people like Alves, Braybrooke sitting and wasting away on the bench, lucky if they get 20 mins (when a game is already won). But there have been so many players who have done well in the youth team/U21's who we never play, nor do we get out on loan. We wait until we've stalled their development to do anything. So much of making it in football is based on luck. Yes, there are Messi's who are that much better but then the majority of others aren't that different in ability and it's all about getting that chance. Very, very few of ours actually get a chance to play 3/4/5 games. Chances are that we're probably not missing out on most of them but we will be some of them. And we're definitely losing the chance to make a steady stream of income from selling 2/3 a year.

Barely dabbled in Warhammer as a kid but have absolutely loved the Total War games which has got me properly into the lore (and the Gotrek and Felix audiobooks). Haven't done any for a few months but had started painting Bretonnians with the release of the Old World so must get back to them, ahead of High Elves and Empire releasing. As you say, it's incredibly cathartic and whilst most mindfulness things are nonsense, painting models is a great one because it does completely take your mind out of stuff. Wish I'd got into it a bit younger with some mates as I imagine the actual game is pretty fun. Unfortunately I've had a scour of some WH groups and I think most of those people have given up on life or it's the be all and end all . Ironically, they're also ridiculously intimidating considering the people that play (stereotyping here) are probably the very people that found the 'cool' kids intimidating at school!

Who's he talking about? Could be either

Actually, stick with your original post. This one is too depressingly realistic -

It really isn't. Said in the match thread that you can't expect anything from him in a game like that, so I'm not holding it against him, but he looked like he'd never seen a football and gave it away pretty much every single time -

To be fair, if you watched Mavididi today, I think most people would be championing their own grandmothers ahead of Stephy -
Not really a Cooper thing though (as crap as he's been with the kids so far). We're historically crap at managing youth team players, let alone those of Alves' ability. Been countless managers where they sit on the bench in cup games or come on 20 mins too late. We never see young lads getting 5/10 appearances. It's all or nothing.

Criticism is warranted. The extent of that criticism hasn't been. Frankly, it's pathetic at times as it always is with certain players on here. He's lots of posters favourite scapegoat so when he plays well, it's ignored, but 1 small mistake or rather, something he might have done better and he's committed a diabolical sin. He's been nowhere near the level he was at when he got injured that's for sure. And you can't deny that lots of the goals have come down his side either. But watch the games and it's hardly like he's dropping clangers left, right and centre. Couple of times today in the match thread people were saying how awful after a couple of moments. Yet both of those came when we inexplicably gave the ball away deep in our own half so he couldn't possibly have been in the right position. And then you look at where Faes was both times and how we reacted as it was abysmal. Yet the blame falls to Justin. Like most people, desperately want Ricardo in but I'd get Justin back in at left back (where his best football has been) because he's been a damn sight better than VK

. You just starting supporting us? You think this board are going to give him the boot anytime soon. Wishful thinking but these clowns love inaction above all else -
Was excellent today. Kind of ridiculous he's getting so many assists as he's still had games where he looks confused by what to do with the round thing that everyone else is kicking
-
Surely going to be elevating himself to a big club if he carries on like that. Keepers moving is a bit more of a transfer jigsaw though so in the unlikely event we stay up, it's entirely possible he could stay. Otherwise big money

A memory of the game today? Or you just didn't watch it
