  1. We reformers want a trust that is relevent and stands up to the club to improve the club. To be important we need to increase membership... and that will only happen if fans believe that trust membership is worthwhile. We do want a much much better FEF. And we do think a board with diverse opinions and reasonable churn is healthy. Times are changing. The board of the trust is too tired... they are not wicked... but their softly softly approach has failed us all. .. their day is gone
  2. Some people are scared of change and defend the status quo. But it is high time for change.... look where we are. Things are changing in football... and that includes the role and position of supporters trusts. Look at the mess our club is in on and off the field. Top seems content with his advisors... but even his latest pr initiative seems to have made things worse. So, our supporters trust must be able to speak up to encourage the club to be much much better on and off the field. Look where the trust's appeasement (a diplomatic strategy of making concessions to avoid conflict) has got us. So we need a trust with a new appoach. Now mr Bason is playing the "project fear" card.... he is scared yet he is mistaken.... its not about protest or "walking away". Yes we do want a better FEF... yes we do want a trust that will call out the club and work with the club to make the club better.... and to make the relationship with the fans better
  3. We should never over pay wages as it prevents us from moving players on. We should sell any player who will not extend their contract with 12mths to go. The book value does not represent the current msrket value of a player. I doubt we should ever sell for book value.... sometines it will be higher some lower
  4. Yes it is unfortunate - they weren't so significant when we dreamt of reforming the foxes trust... but it would be confusing to change now! However, after this election we can just focus on moving forward as the foxes trust as a whole. In the long term we want a healthy trust with a range of contributors of different views and a reasonable churn. Ian bason keeps saying we want to walk away from engaging with the club but this is untrue - we want to work with the club so that they engage with the fan base much much better.... offering democratic access and responding to the concerns of the fans... (The FAB is a joke in this respect-- and "the 5 levels of engagement" are there to allow the club to be distant from difficult issues!) Similarly we want the trust to be professional, open and clear in articulating where the clubm ust do better. I see this as a journey.... that both radical and non radical fans can see as a good thing. Soon we can stop talking about "the old guard" v "reformers" and instead talk about a trust focusing on working to improve the club's performance and its relationship will ALL fans. So the R word may not be with us for much longer if that helps....
  5. I think abdul will set the world cup on fire. He was africa's youmg player of the year a few years back. This is his destiny
  6. Ha... when we got promoted in 2014 my mate asked who i would take from the championship to the epl... i wanted sheffields antonio. He got injured... went to forrest and then wham. i always liked his strength. How is he after the crash?
  7. The technical director appointment comes first... followed by identification of all those to be let go. We then need to identify the style and talent management approach going forward ....which will guide the retention and hiring off and on the field
  8. Soumare should have been sold (with wagr subsidy if necessary) 3 years ago
  9. Very poor yesterday. The epl is being messed up. The efl is worse. The authorities need to get a grip
  10. Everyone in the Fcc is club appointed... the club pretends that the FCC is a democratic path to the FAB. The current FAB is an echo chamber to make the club feel safe while appearing to engage with fans. Yet they are engaging with their own loyalists. A wise club would be curious to reach out and build an understanding with those who question their behavior.... they might find it an enlightening path that makes them better. Do they dare?
  11. I want to be closer to Top - but anthony gets int he way.
  12. Kamonthip Netthanomsak's friends call her by the nickname Mody. This nickname is featured on her Instagram profile, where her username is @modymoodie.
  13. His support of rudkin is all you need to know
  14. Top is playing with his own reputation. leadership would be to recognise the scale of the job to turn things round and to appoint a DOF capable of doing it.
  15. Any members of the foxes trust who think that the current owners are doing a good job should cancel their membership and join the official supporters club. Come the next board elections the Foxes Trust will be much more challenging - speaking out where the club needs to listen.
  16. The FAB is a disaster. Hand picked members - picked by the club. IT was never going to be able to demand answers to tough questions. Prior to it being set up I met with Ian bason and urged the trust to walk away - yet the board at the time wanted to keep on being cozy with the club. Surely the folly of this is now clear (- I think they said as much at the at AGM) - it is time for the trust to walk away from the FAB. Anthony specialises in non engagement.
  17. we've all been to Hull and back
  18. Join the reform mailing list - we will be putting candidates up to fill every seat .... email: [email protected]
  19. the board bet the farm on rodgers
  20. Just to say it is not KP that own the club - it is Top's family and the Chinese fella. It could be that some racists don't like the owners. Yet it could be tat some people who are not racists think the owners are allowing the club to go to pot. It cant be that ALL fans expecting better from the owners ... or wanting new ownrers...are racists. If Graeme things this he is wrong. For me it is clear we need a rebuild of the squad - Rudkins use of money his very inefficient (eg: skip et al) so surely they can see that he is not the DOF for the job. If they cant see this and sort it then thery need to look at themselves. I says Top - grow some and get a DOF whom can rebuild the club.
