This new rule would enable members to propose a motion to terminate a director's position. The motion would have to be voted on at a special general meeting or at an agm - both these meetings have rules about being quorate. The new rule also requires > 2/3 of the votes to be in favour of the termination. The text for the new rule was from the FSA and so we did not want to tamper with it as any rule change requires their approval.

To be clear.... the board are saying that board members can only be removed if they breach the code of conduct... but this does not cover the situation where a board member has lost the confidence of members. Further, other trusts have such a rule to remove a board member... in fact the wording of the resolution is taken from such an "FSA approved" example. It was when we submitted the previous request to ask the trust to remove some board members that the FSA clarified that this could not be carried out as our trust had no rule enabling the removal of directors... unlike other trusts. Hence the need to add a right to enable members to terminate board appointments. Our reforms seek to boost membership so that the club can not ignore the trust. Yet to attract members they have to believe that the board is accountable to the membership... so that we move away from the more cynical views of the past. This is about democracy.

Agree... this window is key. Injuries have hit us hard. But, the biggest problem is the huge cost of having so many player we don't want to start. The profile of the squad is all wrong and duff players are earning too much to move on. How did we get here mr rudkin?

THE PSR situation was down to Top gambling; the delay in firing Rodgers was down to Top. The hiring of Cooper was down to Top. The transfer policy is the work of Rudkin who is allowed to continue by Top. Top need s to reengage with the club and with fans - IMO he need an advisor (... not rudkin)
