  1. Sounds like sean Connery
  2. The bookies allmovervthe shop... butvremenver thus refers the iduisy of their punters rather than the absolute probability. I lumped on rvn at 3 to 1
  3. Gobsmacked to learn that top sacked him having done no prep work to hire a replacement. This is our constant mistake.... doesnt rudkin ppintvthis out?
  4. I expect top is sensitive to open criticism
  5. That's why we sacked cooper now...
  6. I had a nightmare that it will be Lampard. Top grew up watching Chelsea. It all fits. I need to stop eating cheese before bedtime
  7. My 5cents: cooper believed if he was cautious then there were three worse teams. The everton home match showed his unwillingness to attack. ... and in so many other games. The defensive organisation was sooo poor. Ok so we know some of our guys are flaws.. yes i am taling about you faes... buy so many mistakes where there was no safety first attitude. Finally, I knew he was a goner when he felt forced to start starting fatawu. This was against his instinct but he had to bow to fan pressure.
  8. Our board are attracted to shiny things...
  9. Too many fans see football as cyclical. Seen it all before. The direction is clear and the board is delusional if they think we aren't in trouble. The time to act was at the international break.
  10. We need a chant blaming to board for not acting.
  11. Typing too fast in anger.... a tribute to john prescott?
  12. Agree. Chelsea were poor... but still should have scored more. Its ckearkynover fir cooper. I am. sure he is a better manager than this yet he seems lost right now .... but our board are ponderously slow. If they learnt anything from rodgers last season it was that they acted a year too late. The time to act was yesterday
  13. Which went on for 8months too long.... and then they sacked him when it was too late
  14. We have to stop releasing players to Ghana
  15. Our board never rushes to sack.... look at the time given to puel and rodgers. Imo he is safe till Easter!
  16. last year the club staff sat in
  17. At some point I will be asking members who wish to vote on any agm business to let me know if thery cannot attend - so that I can match up proxies. (The chair person can act or any number of proxies and so there is a chance that the chairmight be willing to vote the proxies - even if thery personally wish to vote differently... I will find out)
  18. will itr be private (,members only) or will club staff be there?
  19. I have zero confidence that the club is putting feelers out
  20. Lump on Nb odds offered by bookmakers refkectbthe money laid rather than the true probabilities. If we all back cooper his odds will close
  21. I will drive him to Coventry this afternoon
  22. Last year... with arse and man city just 2 points apart... and competition for euro places then there were few poi t firvthosebin the bottom 3. I think it will be similar this year. While > 35 points is always a survival target .... it may be that 28 points will keep a team up this year.
  23. The FAB is a consultation body - the club are free to ignore the views of those present - there will be no votes. The club are able to decide what they will and will not share (on a confidential basis ) with the FAB - I predict they will share little. The longer term hope for the FAB is that the club come to realise that talking things thru with the FAB will lead them to make better decisions - I expect this to take many years (10?)... as the club has to set aside their wariness and be brave enough to share ideas and to listen. From where we are now that is a big shift. So while hoping for the best form the FAB, the Trust still has a special position in representing the fans. In the reform group we have been clear in our vision that the trust must represent ALL fans (not just members) and to hold the club to account. The FAB reps are bound by an NDA - and as I explained above the club will keep tight control on the FAB agenda. Over the last year we have seen the club messing with pricing, plastic, sponsorship, £ for autographs, messing with the control of the FAB itself and failing to explain who is responsible for what. To get a more forceful trust we have an opportunity at the AGM to elect "reform fans" to the trust and so ensure it becomes a strong and campaigning supporters trust. For those in the reform group we will be communicating very soon to explain how we will continue to renew the make up of the trust board. Please join the trust..... and please email [email protected] to join the reform group,
  24. but jon, I think last year forest could have stayed up with about 27 points. As more points are grabbed by the top three or four then the lower the point of the bottom three, I think you will stay up this year with 30 points for sure.
  25. Good finish. How did we let the cross go in?
