Well it’s funny you should say that as I do distinctly remember saying Marti was a symptom not the cause when this forum was baying for his blood and that top and Rudkin were more than capable of replacing him with someone worse and here we are. I’m not even sure Rowett is overall a worse manager than Marti but his appointment made me feel hopeful but underwhelmed in the sence he might pull out some of the same things he managed at Birmingham and get us lower mid table but his recent track record suggested it was going to be, yet another, poor appointment by our owners. The issue is any manager or player is setup to fail at this club at the moment. The fact they keep appointing managers who aren’t of the caliber we expect just compounds it. I do get a bit frustrated about people not listening to me and others who have done things in football, I am human and I make mistakes and I do get things wrong like all of us do but this situation is so painfully easy to unpick if you have a bit of knowledge and experience. Theres literally no point in having threads on managers or players. I know it’ll continue as we are football fans who want to discuss football. But just reassured for every Gary Rowett RVN Wout Faes or Harry Winks we get rid of there will be another waiting to come through the door because things aren’t right in the board room. Well he’s had his time at Spurs as well I guess and I don’t think you can necessarily gage a players wages by their investments. Some people are just better with money than others and I imagine he has ventures outside of things that don’t have to go through companies house. And @Sly No mate 45k is what the club has said he’s on. I trust our club about as far as I can throw them. Capology have him on 90k the club say 45k but I imagine that’s been neatly tied into his extension being agreed. And I can see him agreeing to an extension on reduced wages. One thing Calology does if a club actually want to disclose how much they pay a player they will disclose it as verified. The fact we pay Ricardo Perriera 80k a week on his last signed contract for example is verified, that’s subject to relegation wage deductions obviously but I’m sure you get the rough idea, there’s no exact science with player wages unless you get their P60 but that’s the closest you will get. They do however have the option to inform Capology they are paying him 45k if they wish to, as they did with Ricky. Shock horror they haven’t done that. Despite the fact they wanted to try and dispel a myth publically, informing Capology is the easiest way to do that as its industry recognised. Wouldnt suprise me if it was far lower than where Capology have him at. If someone told he’s actually sat on somewhere between 60-70k I would be willing to believe that. That lad has not been earning 45k a week during his time here. Literally is one of the most pampered players in the king power setup. Reading between the lines, he’s 30, his ego and tbf to him, getting into bed with our club with the way it’s being run at the minute, has totally stifled would could have been a far better career. 45k would still be a lot more than anyone else will offer him now and I imagine the reason he’s agreed it is because his agent can’t find him anything better because he’s been thoroughly average, for years, has had a terrible attitude, for years. So he’s just taking the best offer he can get. He’s not happy here, I think we have all very evidentially seen this afternoon he’s not happy here 😂 Which is obviously from our wonderfully footballing clued up owners. Because paying Harry Winks somewhere between 60-90k in the Championship and paying Harry Winks 45k a week in league one are the same thing. Gross miss management of a football club. The really stupid thing there will be no debate about this next season, as we are all going to know he’s, at least, on 45k in league one now as they’ve put it through an official club communication thinking relegation wasn’t a possibility 😂 It’s mind boggling levels of naivety. Understand but honestly I do mean both. If we don’t equalise I honestly think they won’t match the 52 points of 2008 even without the points deduction. And I’m not being funny this has been one of the worst championship season I can remember in terms of the 24 teams in it. I expect all 3 promoted teams to fail horribly without serious well planned investment. Yet we’re looking like we are going to finish second bottom of it. And only second bottom of it because Sheffield Wednesday are in one of the worst positions I can remember a club of our sizes have been in in modern history. And we have the highest budget in the league. let that sink in. Your could argue 1991 but without going into the bones of it your are then in the territory of using the exception to prove the rule.

I said yeah “Al that’s me” At which point he made several rather expletive ridden personal insults about my weight and told me to stay out of his personal life which I found pretty weird and ironic on two levels as I know I’ve got a big head but I was tipping the scales at about 13 stone at that point and I’d not actually said nothing about his personal life I’d just said he’s got a good left foot but he’s a shit defender and he was actually the one getting personal with me. Anyway that was that and in a certain day in May 2016 he got one last message when I was understandably quite intoxicated. Not the most exciting story in the world but highly strange non the less. He does seem to have grown up a bit though so fair play to him. Edit: I should say I saw him at friendly against Hinckley about 10 days after his move to Leeds which was shortly after all this and he did nothing.

I didn’t reach out to you Jordan because I don’t know you. I reached out to Ric because myself and Ric have been in on here for a long time, often have similar views, and I have huge respect for him. That said a lot of our fans ask me for transparency on why things aren’t getting done between the various groups who want change at the club, and if you have the bollocks to reply to this one way or another hopefully they’ll see it. It benefits your media career because people listen to what you say, I enjoy what you say, if people listen you you’ll get more opportunities, and fair ****s to you for it I can’t fault you. And I will apologise slightly for putting it the way I have but I’m trying to get you to come to the table which is what I’ve managed. In public, where everyone can see your reaction. there are people trying to do things on the ground and they need a group like the BSLB to play its part, in a joined up effort, to get king power out of our club. And Have a joined up strategic narrative to get king power out of our club. If that’s your intention and not your media career let’s prove it and get something together so we can help progress that as best we can. Let me ask you this and I am going to come off this forum for a few days after this as it’s getting frustrating. I’ve been on here for the best part of 25 years, you’ll see my posting activity was at it lowest when we were winning the league. Finishing 5th etc, Because I’m happy with that. The people I have actually worked in the group with will confirm I will back down and take feedback. TLDR I am mouthing off for one reason and one reason only, I view the narrative of trying to blame king powers entire tenure on our problems is highly dangerous for sociological and political reasons. listen if you want don’t if you don’t want to. I live in Sheffield and tbh if this club goes out of business because of a bad owner and the collective **** ups by the fan base to deal with it I can live with that. I was intially supposed to do the interview with radio Leicester before Ollie did it because it was a last minute thing and I got stuck at Sheffield station. We all poured ideas into his head, he had his own views with it and they way they were delivered was awesome. I think I’ve made it very clear I’m not trying to attack your character. Im sure we would both get along very well in person. And im sure @Finnegan who does know me in person would agree with that statement. The group has outputted more than anyone else and I’m sure they’d be more than happy if someone else actually did something. You can only criticise a small group of fans trying to do something if you’ve actually tried to do something yourself.

To be honest it’s a good snow ball. These are the conversations we should be having if we are going to get anything done. These aren’t personal attacks on anyone it’s about trying to get an aligned approach to what we are doing.

I directly messaged you mate about using the pod to help drive what we had done with the boycotts and the protest, you replied saying you’d been in Italy and you’d get back to me. I got nothing back from you. I believe you and Jordan may be involved with another group trying to organise actions. Fine if so, but this is half our problem we have so many different groups running in different directions it’s not going to have an effect.
