  1. it’s worse than cooper and arguably worse than Ruud, who both left to cries of “well at least the next one can’t do any worse” and Marti will be the same. Eventually some of you lot might realise that it can always be worse and don’t rule out the complete incompetents at the top of this club managing to find someone who can indeed be worse than Marti. They are the number 1 problem.
  2. I mean we can talk pieces of paper and cracks all you want. @AKCJ sacking the manager would be seen as papering over the cracks in his view and I am inclined to agree.
  3. We could win 2-1 though 🤣 I get the sentiment just the timing of it is ridiculous. I mean you either look silly if we go on to get something out of it or you have a proper 90 mins to make full assessment if we don’t.
  4. I’ve got 11 years on but I personally wouldn’t go quite that far 🤣. We’ve had some bad ones. He’s not very good though that’s for certain.
  5. His number should be on a board now.
  6. I don’t believe, purely on technical ability, this squad can’t get out of the Chanpionship. Attitude wise Is another and the way the team is being managed and club run are two other completely separate big problems.
  7. Oh I never wanted him in the first place. it still doesn’t change the fact calling for an axing in a game you ain’t lost yet is pretty moronic 🤣
  8. indeed, I mean Marti was never the right appointment but we will end up with someone else not fit for purpose. Cuz who’s appointing them? The actual problem.
  9. Jesus Christ lads you gonna at least leave it to full time 🤣
  10. I think it’s bit much using the lack of wanting to buycott as a reason to bash sections of our fanbase (there plenty of other reasons don’t get me wrong) Remember Wednesday fans had to see offers made for the club turned down players not paid, leave for that reason, their manager walk out, one of their stands temporarily closed, friendly fixtures not fulfilled, and an embargo before they took that drastic step.
  11. tbf I can’t see Daka getting any worse after a breakfast of red bull and vodka skittles
  12. I think it's got to fit...... I'd be very careful what job I gave Jamie Vardy for example
  13. Whilst I find that very difficult to believe, there is still only one metric that matters. It was pretty much a well known fact RVN was going to be the replacement, that is what irked me most about his dismissal. But I wont ague with the second point. Ideally, we wouldn't have hired either of them in the first place.
  14. Yeah, that's competitive mate, picking up results, being above the relegation zone and actually being able to score a goal at your own stadium most weeks, by definition means you are competing. It's what he was bought in to do, not entertain, not play nice football, get points, keep us up. And if anyone has any other expectations of him with that squad then they are just being completely unrealistic. What's not competitive is not scoring a single goal at home for best part of 5 months and only having that duck broken by the two sides worse than we are once they were both already down.
  15. Well no it's not. When you didn't want Cooper out in the first place Hindsight has nothing to do with it. You don't sack a manager for doing his job, Leicester City in 15th in the PL and looking reasonably competitive in nearly all our games was Steve Cooper doing his job, ridiculously harsh sacking.
  16. Well I didn’t want him in the first place and I still don’t want him now but I don’t see us realistically sacking him any time soon unless he loses a good two or three on the bounce.
  17. I was at Clay cross vs Gresley tonight so cant make an informed opinion. If anyone has footage of the warm up though im happy to give thoughts.
  18. It's heavy because it's just a ridiculous thing to pick up on and it's getting likes because it's factual Do me a favor and please do watch the next set of official's the EFL appoint us and pre predict their performance based on their preening. And his performance was far from perfect but above average for me, we've had far worse. Not the reason we didn't win that game in the slightest.
  19. Sorry, are we saying officials aren’t allowed to warm up now. I mean of all the undeserved bias influenced bile you normally get in threads like this after a bad result that’s a new one.
  20. I mean yes you are correct, It’s just not in his dna to track a 60 yard run is it. Wouldn’t even call it lazy just a lack of perception and swifts got yards on him before he’s even picked the run up. That’s what you get with Harry Winks, unfortunately midfielders who can knock the ball about and successfully read and track runs from deep with consistency cost quite a lot of money. And as it’s been stated already he’s hardly the first port of call for blame for that goal. We have what we have. The second half display in general was the most concerning point for me without picking the bones out of the goal which you have to credit Portsmouth for, it’s is a very good counter attack and a great finish which wasn’t easy to defend.
  21. I mean agreed but if you also look at BC games in comparison to the companies there there's a big difference. No one's asked why they went bankrupt, so I'll tell you why, $2.5 million not payed out to customers, and an outstanding claim with one customer who deposited a million US dollars which they froze and stole.
  22. I could take a gambling company, I think we are somewhat being naive to discount gambling companies completely until something is done about their ability to advertise in parliament as that is where the issue needs solving. This gambling company however…..
  23. Ok, we should accept being linked to gambling company that at best has been proven to not met consumer needs in a industry where not meeting industry standards can cause people serious mental health issues, serious financial issues, or death. And it worst has links to money laundering and potentially organised crime, because Chelsea seem to have got getting around FFP down to a fine art? Not really comparable situations are they. Like I say, it’s hyperbole, or you don’t seem to appreciate exactly how shady bc games are.
  24. Find examples of any Premier League club sponsored by a gambling company that has the levels of transparency you have just described in your own words as "nobody knows 100% about them" and that has had to pull out of the UK market under threat of removal of their license
  25. Hyperbole. And another example of fans excusing the continued poor running of this club.
