Give me some evidence to back that statement up. As it's utter garbage based on nothing from my perspective. Here's my evidence The Premier League itself: Investigated City for years Brought 115 charges Sent it to an independent commission Funded a huge legal case If they “wanted it to go away,” they wouldn’t have: Opened a formal investigation Publicly announced charges Risked their reputation, and it wouldn't still be going on, they're the ones bringing the case to the table, they can drop the case anytime they want.

The whole thing is structured to not be set and stone, no structure involving a club, and managing body in the PL, and a independent tribunal that decides punishment can be set in stone, it's just not how it works. People think the PL control all of this they do not, people call out Manchester City paying them off or some ludicrous bull shit, the fact of the matter is if the PL had their own way we'd be docked 12 points and Manchester City would probably be playing in League Two.
-
Have you seen our defence? It can basically can be summarised by we didn't expect to get relegated and John tries really hard. Having said that our own appeal is by the by, it will not result in a reduced penalty I will tell you that for free, the PL's own appeal is far more worrying. I would like to think the only reason we've lodged our own is a Poker tactic as not doing so would indicate we think we've got off lightly and if the PL appealed and we didn't it wouldn't look great. Sadly I don't think and I do think it's arrogance though.

Hope I'm missing the point where someone has called out how much 10,000 balls would cost and you're joking I play Tennis 5,000 of those things even if they are terrible would cost far more than 2k

Well if we stay up it wont be by much.

Probably slightly worse but yes.

I'm not a fan of reality TV myself at all but Sunderland till I die is very eye opening, Jack Rodwells attitude alone makes it worth watching.
-
His assessment is damning enough but he hasn't even mentioned the Macquarie business loan.
-
It's a great watch mate. Also very educational as there are a lot of similarities between where Sunderland where and where we are now.

We could 100% not do with that guy in our boardroom. I think it's season two of Sunderland till i die? Give that a watch.

TBF in terms of Level 1 and 2 football owners they're are closer to be considered that than they are wealthy. -
IS La Problem is the people who follow King Power to the end of the earth are numerous and were even more rife in 2023 than they are now. And there's still easily enough of them to make life difficult now. So top did, and continues to do, what he wants.

He's got less money than Reynolds, Don't think they're combined net worth is even half a billion. -

Plenty of things going for it though, very cheap for what's there, cost an absolute fraction to buy, the differing rules in Non League allowed them to do certain things a different way, their money was enough to get it this far and now they're running without needing the cash injections, been run well but they'd have struggled coming in here and doing a similar thing it's a completely different kettle of fish. Birmingham's probably a better example. Don't disagree that there is no reason we shouldn't, eventually, be able to find a suitable owner. -

Ryan Reynolds is nowhere near a billionaire mate they are getting towards the ceiling of where he can get them on revenue alone now. I think someone with his net worth would be deeply intimidated by taking a club the size of Leicester on Not to criticise the job he's done there of course he's done wonders there. -

Let's all be more Ben, this whole process will be a lot easier if we are all more Ben. -

This one will happen don't worry about that. Anyone who reads the forum regularly knows this one has been in the works for a few weeks. There's a reason this one has been pinned on the forum and Unity for Change have released a statement, I'll be the first to admit the various groups who want him gone need to unite more and we are working on that, it doesn't happen over night though we are mostly working people with jobs and families. -

You know as well as I do they're are certain limits that need to be kept to in order for this to have the intended impact, outside of that I am very happy this is starting to come together, if people don't make stupid suggestions I don't have to argue them. -

How do you mean, you're going to have to elaborate. I would encourage most protesting efforts just not that one. That statue should be left well alone. -

I have far more important things to discuss with him, He has his way of doing things I have mine, we all want the same thing and if some people can carry Cambodia flags at the protest for all care if that's what they want to do. There is a far, far cry from any of that and sticking one over the statue of Vichai, doing anything to that statue full stop is going to make all of us look fcking ridiculous, he has family members other than Top who don't deserve it, the legacy of the man himself doesn't deserve it, and if you can't appreciate that at least understand it's going to take the focus of the media off what we are trying to achieve and on to how moronic our attempts at protesting are. -

Fantastic example of exactly the kind of thing we do not want on the first page of this thread, Yes, press coverage for all the wrong reasons and the only people we will embarrass is ourselves. We can get press coverage without leveraging some political border dispute between nations that has absolutely nothing to do with any of this. Keep it contextual, and don't disrespect a deceased man who has had nothing to do with any of this.- 856 replies

Each to their own.... Leicester City belongs to all of us
Manwell Pablo replied to tickler28's topic in Leicester City Forum
Do agree, I try to take this into account in all my interactions. That said this specific situation could end that for everyone if we don't have a club so it is important to try and get people to see that. Some people might call that an over reaction and maybe it is in our present state but if you take trajectory and the past into account it could well be a problem in the future. -
Bing Videos That game has a lot to answer for.

Realistic Managerial Replacements
Manwell Pablo replied to winteriscoming's topic in Leicester City Forum
I aint going to have a go at you because I like you. Just a few points, Top had a footballing position at the club that oversaw a lot of the Sven era including Mills and the various other over spending and Vichai "repositioned" (read sacked) him, that's the pattern I see here. But that is honestly like you've not seen what's been going on here for years and expecting a collection of people who have only driven this club downwards and expecting them to make any kind of progress. In terms of best case scenario's it's life in the Championship without any ambition, best case. It's a viewpoint like that makes me want us to go down if that what it takes to actually evidence the levels of miss management at this club.
