Just doing some rough calculations: Kristiansen: Transfer fee - £17m 5 years @ 30k/ week = £7.5m Thomas: 9 years @ 30k/week = £13.5m Thats ~ £40m this pair of plonkers will have cost us. Thinking of these figures is a big part of the reason why I feel so disillusioned with football. £40m!!!!

    This infuriates me; peddling this myth that he “gives his best”. Where’s the evidence of that?! He’s been in the team for 5 years and hasn’t improved one jot. If anything he’s regressed. If he had gained muscle, got quicker etc I may agree with you. But he hasn’t because he’s lazy!!
