Praying Handscomb doesn’t come in at 3 or 4 in the powerplay, going at a run a ball….

Personally I’d look at it as what value do you place on a guy who’s just had a poor season in the Championship.

If we can get our money back for him it’ll be daylight robbery from us. Nowhere near as good as he thinks he is.

Management in a difficult position here as Handscomb, as wonderful a player as he is in ODIs and red ball cricket, should be nowhere near a T20 side. 43 off 40 balls on this pitch is horrific.

Couldn’t agree with this any more. The wide berths our academy products get sometimes is astounding.

I’ll say it again, and he’ll probably go onto get a 50 now, but Peter Handscomb is not a T20 player.

Someone needs to tell Handscomb he’s playing T20 and needs to be more aggressive during the power play.

The word ‘legend’ is overused, but it certainly describes this giant of a man. You’ve got to be hard as nails to play rugby league at any height, but to do so at 5ft 3 is astonishing. What an absolute warrior. Your memory will live in so many ways. RIP.
