  1. ...this Manchester City is a different kettle of fish, they were a lot better a few seasons ago, very much playing like the men's team!!! There has been a big exodus with players leaving and long-term injuries, but previously they were a joy to watch if you like the type of possession play that we (our men's team) are currently employing at this moment.
  2. ... Leitzig's standards have dropped, would have caught that last season!!!
  3. ...why is Shaw still on the pitch, it is obvious she is injured, what are they going to gain!!!
  4. ...lots of passing because it is what they have been asked and trained to do, even if no one is in the space where they are passing to!!! Screaming at the ridiculous decision they are taking, players look like they are blowing already, it is going to be a lot of pain in the second half, we need fresh legs as soon as possible.
  5. ...as he said, there are always areas that could be improved on, I am sure the same thing would have been said had we drawn or lost the game!!! Vestergaard's reaction to his goal was to get the ball and go again, with much the same attitude, happy to score, but more to do.
  6. ...so far no news on the potential Brys replacement!!! It has been more than 7 days and if this is any indication that nothing the people at the top has learned from the debacle with LCFC, well here is proof. Releasing a manager in an International break should have been a good step, but failing to have identified and had some lined up is criminal. LCFC drifted for 10 games, where the possibility to stave off relegation was available, but we had no plan in place to bring someone in who could take us through to the end of the season. I hope we are not sitting there, waiting for a coach to be knocked out of a European competition before we make an appointment.
  7. ...this sounds like a contradiction to your first statement!!!
  8. .. memberships does not guarantee turning up for every home game!!! Season ticke holders do not always turn up for every game. A "walk up" option probably gives just as much opportunity for a sell out for a game, so long as the tickets are on general sales.
  9. .. learning when to use their left and right foot!!! Mavididi very poor in his ability as an inverted player, Fatawu much the same, runs out of decisions as what to do when no obvious option is there for him so inane balls played into the box. They should be an explosive options for us, I hope they have a better understanding of what is required in their position. Their inability to come inside and shoot across the keeper should be natural, strange that you have to be taught to think that way.
  10. ...it seems obvious that the club needs to know who they have in their stadium and can make the individuals accountable for whatever purpose!!! In an instance where there is a "walk-up" customer, if the club insists on a "card-only" purchase, surely that ties them to an individual just the same. The only problem would be that if that card were stolen, it may not be so simple to address any wrongdoing on the premises. I think expanding the stadium would be good, as last-minute "walk-ups" would be more frequent and have the capacity for large groups to sit together, but if the club aims to continue to monitor all their supporters as they presently do, then the expansion will serve little purpose.
  11. ...oh yeah, a second bite at the cherry, how lucky for us!!!
  12. ...not sure you can say that regarding Parker in the Jupiler!!! Played 12 D6 L4 only 2 wins then was sacked. Club Brugge obviously was not convinced about him, and neither should anyone else.
  13. ...there are a lot of players that have had only one international game for England and then they become tied to them!!! Under the rules, in order for a player to switch nationalities, a player must not have played in a competitive fixture (that is, can only have played in friendlies for the first country), and FIFA approval is necessary. McAteer choosing to go to Ireland may be a calculated move, no one was expecting the season he was having. His previous loans did not point to international recognition and with no history of international call-ups for any age group, perhaps Ireland was the option he would have chosen anyway.
  14. ...I would say by the time you are 10 years old, you would know your nationality!!! That would be something constantly brought up by their family and made you very much steeped in your heritage.
  15. ...with a name like that!!!
  16. ...paying the nominal fee does not get him or his friends into the ground where they will have seating together!!! Tickets not going on general sale comes back to capacity and we are losing money hand over fist not increasing the size of the ground and encouraging new supporters to the club. Foxes Trust really are not fit for purpose, they do need to have a dialogue and a rapport with the club, but they also need to call them out on certain things, that they see as detrimental to the supporters and their matchday experiences.
  17. ...have to say this would be a poor appointment and I would not wish this on OHL!!! We seem to be forgetting a manager who had such poor communication skills that he alienated most of the players in his charge. If his man-management skills were anywhere near average he perhaps would be a good manager. We have seen that he struggles to bring players along with him, his games were soporific and we were all calling for him to go. I am not sure where the push for Puel and his redemption has come from, but this manager failed miserably during his time here. He could spot a player, he just could not build a team that would follow him.
  18. ...I presume this is not a good thing for the Irish F.A!!!
  19. ...there is always Rodgers, they say he is good for a season or two, just a year's supply of notebooks and a reliable pen that works in all weathers!!!
  20. .. he just should not be allowed, to decorate or dress himself!!! He looks an absolute shambles, if his friends cannot tell him that, then they aren't really his friends.
  21. ...yeah very much we need to convey the appreciation of the Tifos, but what the gentleman is saying is quite valid!!! It's not about players walking out the tunnel, it is not that simple. It is about walking to the game, surrounding by like minded people dressed in your club colours and the cacophony of sounds barely decipherably approaching the stadium. This is the precursor to all home games and the anticipation of the game grows as we look at the clocking counting down the minutes. As usual there will be late arrivals and having to stand up to let people pass as they get to their seats in your row. You have had your beer and discussed the team sheet and the doubts of the set up have not been alleviated after an hour of friendly discourse. The horn blower strides out on the pitch and he proceeds to blow the call, the day, the whole expectancy of what is about to unfold has started. The players run out and we great the gladiators, because that is what the are and they are fighting for us. In that one moment, tension and excitement is released into a stadium where we fail to witness anything such as this anytime in our lives, this only happens on matchdays.
  22. ...I missed the first half and managed to watch the start of the second half up to the point where we scored!!! There are still a lot of mistakes and decision-making is still bad, still not like us playing it around at the back, as we look like we are losing a goal most time when pressed. Kirk when interviewed said he was unhappy, especially with the first half as he felt that they were not playing in the way that he wanted and how they had trained. He was happier with the second half and his changes, staying with the plan.
  23. .. we are going to be pushed to go to these figures, if we go back up!!! If we see a player who we believe completes the jigsaw we are going to have to pay the price as the cost and our needs become a bargaining chip for other clubs to use against us.
  24. ...it really seems that they have you on a string!!! When you have nothing to lose, you are more braver in your approach and dealings in these situations. I would expect they see the Trust as a group who are unwilling to rock the boat, due to their position and access to the club. I could not see Union FS in that position as its members are prepared to make waves. I believe the trust was setup like most clubs within the game to give supporters a voice and to an extent, hold clubs to account. It now seems like a PR exercise and it is how long you continue to acquiesce to their dealings with you that will determine the true relationship between yourselves. Look at OHL, they voiced their need for Brys to be removed, and it happened, perhaps you need some of their members on your board?
  25. ...that is a strange take on this!!! So when the owners took over the club they envisaged a club constantly dropping from the Premier League to the Championship every now and then? I don't think so. We are an aspirational club, that was the mentality previously put forward by those at the top, the recent reticence to liaise with our fanbase, and the debacle of last season has to be addressed. We cannot repeat the errors that brought us to the point of relegation, nothing appears to have changed and no one looking like taking on the responsibility for falling out the league. The only part of this equation that is working, is the addition of Maresca. I hope he drags the club kicking and screaming into the Premier League, we need that type of leadership, single minded and not caring who likes it or not.
