...yeah, the Stringerism are no longer there, he seems to have developed his own style and rhythm !!! I do notice that he and Jack Rafferty have a habit of talking over the action and not about what is happening on the pitch.

...I do not think we have seen anything near what he can do since he came here!!! There is an abundance of talent, but I suspect it will become Ghezzal mk2, a player with so much skill and exuberance but seemingly unable to display those skills on match days. This league may just be a level he can cope with and get by in, as none of what I have seen him do prior to coming here is being replicated at game time.

...there is very much room for Mavericks in this side, you just want the unexpected to happen where it throws the opposition off their game!!! With better decision-making and better finishing, we should not be labouring in games and instigating an atmosphere of restless supporters crying out to be entertained. The crowd wants to sing, the supporters are on the edge of their seats, and the way we play just stifles all that.

...there are a lot of players in this team that are very much the same!!! Any changes do not give the team a discernable new direction or way of affecting the game. We did have a very good spell when we looked the better team and had them under pressure, but our only real threat came from Thorsteinsson who is adequate but hasn't the guile to capitalise on the openings that came his way. I must admit I was expecting a new style of play to be on display, but we looked the same as we did under Brys. The players did work hard for the cause, but Brugge was a deserved winner.

...I would be very surprised to see Vardy in this game, but if he does feature, it would be good to see Akgun working from the left putting first-time balls in for an onrushing Vardy!!! It is easier to play the ball into the box as a left-footer playing from the left. It might be a good balance with an inverted winger playing on the other side.

...watching Harry Kane in the German League, Daka must be crying himself to sleep!!! With the amount of space that he is allowed, and with balls being played through with one-on-one opportunities, Daka needs to get out as quickly as possible.

...we have not been one for a long time, we were not under Rodgers!!! I still think it was a good strategy to utilise, but under Shakespeare, we struggled to take the game to the opposition, we always looked unconvincing when other teams were not prepared to come at us. As a club I believe we are a club which loves to go forward, what we are seeing at the moment is contrary to how most feel about the club and its style of play. These performances could be improved by better players out wide and #8. Even with Winks, we are still lacking.

...I wouldn't say the style is the problem, it is the execution of the style that is where we fall short!!! Burnley went into this new season without the loanees that had got them up and has not been able to remake the team. The problem with loans is you end up having to rebuild the core as much as anything else.

...perhaps because the rugby is on DAB, they are looking to give it a bigger audience, or the Football is no longer taking calls after games with Piper left to answer repetitive questions and unable to string the time out!!!

...I might have failed to accurately conveyed what I was trying to say in this instance, but I was not putting forward Madivadua as a possible #9 option!!! I mentioned Madivadua as someone Maresca was quick to take to task, taking no prisoners, you might say.

...I would expect Cannon to start!!! Nacho not shining, Daka not going to get game time, Vardy and Sheff. Wednesday (seems not to play against them) Cannon is the only other option out there. With all the games before Christmas, I would believe that Maresca would have chosen to start him at home to Watford, but this game affords him a better option to start with Cannon.

...does it not make you wonder why a manager such as Maresca, continue to accept these performances and do nothing about it!!! No instruction in games, not dragging him off before half time, you have got to ask the question if Maresca is OK with what he is seeing. There is not a shortage of strikers and Madivadua was banished pretty quickly for some kind of transgression, why is he not as quick to address Nacho's performances. I am a big Nacho fan, I always believed that when he is the focal point in the team he becomes very self-conscious and he thinks too much about what he is doing than letting his skill come naturally. After all this time he is not going to change, we either adjust to what he gives us, or we let him move on to a club, that is prepared to give him the freedom to be himself.

...bringing in players on the fringe, would be a good idea to combat complacency!!! They will have a point to prove, I am not sure Vardy has played against Wednesday as the fixture has come up, but I do not believe he has never been involved, could there be an agreement in place?

...it is not an excuse, it is quite pointedly obvious!!! You listen to the crowd after WYS and within 5 - 10 minutes of the game, the whole place goes flat. We are doing what we always do and a lot of supporters are hoping for something better. The reason why we play this way has been explained ad nauseam, but it still does not take away the fact that our execution of the style is nowhere at the level it should be and it soon becomes very repetitive. Our Wingers are not producing and there seems a lack of individual thought being encapsulated in the way we play. The need to pass without reason is now ingrained in this squad, we need someone to buck the style and do something different.
