  1. ...I wonder if Fatawu or Mavididi watches things such as these, you just do not need to apply pace to a ball to score!!! Lots of cutbacks here and good-timed layoffs, but this player understands his role and football. Players such as Mavididi and Fatawu need the extra coaching, just get them on a one-to-one after training and instil the need to add finesse and commonsense decisions to their game and we could save ourselves millions. We cannot just hope they will evolve, we need to coach certain things into their games for them to become productive.
  2. ...he looks good, can use both feet, has awareness and can finish, what more do we want!!!
  3. ... I wouldn't trust someone with a carload of lockable briefcases which have the PINs locked inside of them!!!
  4. ...isn't that like saying, all previous convicts should be against incarceration!!!
  5. ...not sure if you are just alluding to football or other sports that they have at one time dominated!!!
  6. ...no, we should bring in Cummings, one person who can ride roughshod over all legal and political statues, winning is all he cares about!!!
  7. ...taking out the big boy's argument, surely the monitoring of clubs overspending and going out of business, in a sense was protecting the Football leagues!!! Without FFP in plays, how many clubs would have folded and communities wrecked, due to no discernible checks and balances being in play?
  8. ...not sure I follow this!!! Isn't the poster referring to playing as a #8, and KDH is already the existing left hand side of "the box."
  9. ...I thought that was Vicky!!!
  10. ...I would say that there is a plethora of staff who are not supporters of the club, why should this appointment be any different!!!
  11. ...why should he be a supporter of the club!!!
  12. . I would envisage you would be tying the hands of the individual behind his back, after taking up the role!!! Just by reading the job description, you can see why an ardent fan would spend everyday tilting at the club for change and receiving pushback from the club!! Who would want to go into work facing that everyday? It needs a none supporter, someone with an open mind and the flexibility to see things from both sides. The individual will be working for the club, he has a duty to the company that pays his wages, he is not going to be "one of our own". I would say, unless he is not far from retirement (I have never met him) Jim, the officer that posters on here sing his praises, should be a candidate or his department expanded to incorporate this role, which allows him to oversee, this potentially challenging position.
  13. ...would I be overstating that the loss of a job for any individual is just as devastating!!! The Hamas attack on Israel is just as heinous as the attack on the WTC, it is the same outcome, not sure we should judge it on numbers. I understand what you are saying and my take is that we extract as much from them, as we possibly can. They chose to follow a practise that was calculated to preserve their Premier league survival, it appears to have worked in their favour. How much thought was there of the consequence of being caught and the livlihood of their general staff, none would be the answer. Until wrong doing is punished to fit the crime and carried out on an equal footing, UEFA are always going to be doing deals in backroom. Just take a look at teams being relegated in Italy, and Rugby clubs being relegated due to breaches of the law, we need to establish a more robust approach to all this, where semantics do not decide the extent of guilt.
  14. ...isn't that to an extent what has happened at our club in light of relegation!!!
  15. ...you just wonder if Caden Voice is watching!!!
  16. ...the really strange thing about this season, is that Ndidi plays that #8 role, better than most #8s in any league!!! He makes the runs at the right time and has the awareness of what is around him and an ability to pick out a man, with a astute cross. His drawback will always be his ability to finish and if he could master that, we will have a player on our hands. I did expect Casadei to walk in and take Ndidi's role, but so far it hasn't happened and we need a complete #8 in that role.
  17. ...Rantala's shot at goal after it was ruled that we had fouled the Spurs player just outside their box!!! That finish would probably have won the goal of the season, absolute beauty, bending it into the top corner, effortlessly. We need to be looking to shoot from outside the box and bending the ball into the top corners is the way to go. If there is one aspect of goalkeeping in the women's game that is weak, it is the inability for keepers to get across their goal to anything placed high into the corners of their goal, we need to exploit this, with talents such as Rantala.
  18. ...you have a lot of faith in Daka!!! Lots of posters asking for him to come into the team, especially with Vardy and Nacho not setting the league alight. A home game with Cannon leading the line would for me be more effective. Maresca likes to give full debuts at home, and this would be the ideal game to do this.
  19. ...I don't think he does, but @urban fox seems to have a passing acquaintance!!!
  20. ...didn't the Charlton brothers say there was another brother who was better than both if them!!! You really have to have the drive and discipline to make it, so many talented players outthere, just do not have the mental side to go with their talents.
  21. ...so frustrating to watch, the right passes are being made put the supporting player has not got into the position to receive it, but it still gets played!!! Just not looking after the ball, and stop this passing around at the back. If you are being closed down send it down the channels, we just play ourselves into a corner and create chances for the opposition.
  22. ...this is a good shout!!!
  23. ...I would think that when they joined the cyclist tour they would all have signed up to certain rules, and governing processes regarding legal redress!!! Certain things would have been agreed upon what would be dealt with by the governing body and an agreement no doubt that legal action was not prohibited against individual parties who had signed up for the tour.
