  1. Hermansen Hamza Okoli Vesty JJ Skipp Soumare Buonanotte Ayew Bilal Vardy That’s the team lads and lasses.
  2. Hermansen Hamza Vestergaard JJ McAteer Skipp Soumare Kristiansen Buonanotte Bilal Vardy Experimental but can’t get much worse than Saturday for me.
  3. Got a good feeling about Ruud. He speaks well, he’s a leader, he has a presence plus you have to respect what he achieved as a player who was obsessed with winning and played for 2 of the biggest clubs in world football. Tactically the players will like his football as it’s more similar to Maresca than what Cooper served up. Big enough personality to stamp authority on the squad too.
  4. It’s Ruud’s if he wants it.
  5. The way Monga at 15, was running past League 1 defenders is mad.
  6. The most infuriating type of player. He genuinely has the ability to be the best midfielder on the pitch but it always depends on if he fancies it or not. You don’t see players of his size with his fleet of foot often, he combines Ndidi physicality with excellent technique and weight of pass. Up to him whether he really pushes on and becomes something.
  7. I think BDCR is the worst player to play for us in the last decade.
  8. Any chance of some subs? You can make 5 Steve, you daft ****.
  9. Genuinely can’t believe there are people claiming to be Leicester fans who think this bloke should still have a job here.
  10. Playing an over the hill BDCR over Alves in Carabao cup games. Do you want me to hate you Steve? That’s how it’s looking to me pal.
  11. To put into perspective the drop off in meticulous coaching between the regime under Maresca and the regime under Cooper. I was told last season that Maresca spent 2 days in pre-season that solely focused on players making sure their body position was correct to receive a pass in different areas of the pitch, that they were making sure their touch on the ball was directed in a certain way to make the patterns of play smoother and that players made sure they were passing to the correct foot of their team mates so it would make the touch and pass easier for their team mate for the next progression. Once you’ve had that level of detailed coaching to help make you a better player, it’s difficult to go back to a manager who doesn’t go into such fine detail. It’s the clubs fault really, when you’ve had a manager who’s life is living at the training ground and studying the game religiously, you need to make sure the next appointment follows similar philosophies and methods.
  12. Their goal in the first half came from the naivety of youth with Buonanotte trying to break on the counter attack and beat a man on the edge of our box and an absolutely woeful bit of defending from JJ - who’s made a habit of being at fault for goals so far this season. Aside from that though we were all over them and were much the better side, it’s the most promising we’ve looked all season because let’s have it right this Forest team are a good outfit, they’re solid in the middle, have good long passers of the ball at the back and are rapid out wide with a big **** who can finish up top. They keep it solid, play off mistakes and play for set pieces - it’s a formula that will get you to 6-9th comfortably in this league when done well. 1st half we more than matched them, we controlled the game, we created opportunities from slick football and we looked Forest’s equals. The problem was we’ve not played this shape and drilled it regularly so as the players fatigued, mistakes were made and this played right into Forest’s hands, Nuno changed their defensive shape slightly to counter the change in our shape and the problem then was Cooper didn’t know how to change and tweak our system to break down Forest in the 2nd half. That’s the problem with having Cooper as our manager, at the highest level, your manager has to be able to read the game and change the shape of the side/tweak the system, yes the players made mistakes in the 2nd half for their goals but after Nuno’s tactical shift in the 2nd half we never caused them issues and that is on the manager.
  13. Luckiest bastard going atm. He’s lucky that Fatawu came on with a huge chip on his shoulder.
  14. What was said at the parade?
  15. Looking for a bite but just making yourself look really, really silly.
  16. Aideed looks like he could be a top player. Plays in the front 3 positions, for me he’s not as impressive as Monga but tbh we’ve got so many good young attacking players you could make a case for any of them having the best career in football and it would be a toss up as to who it ended up being.
  17. If I go for a shit every day and don’t wipe my arse, I may go days without getting shit in my under crackers but statistically more often than not I’m gonna end up with my own faeces sliding around in there ruining my gusset hygiene. It’s a bit like Steve Cooper’s Leicester City, there’s only so many times you can ride your bastard luck.
  18. Aye, their manager is ****ing shite too.
  19. Ecstatic with the 3 points but he stills needs to go. We won today despite Cooper not because of him. He allowed them to build momentum in the 2nd half by persevering with tired legs for too long, he should have brought the likes of Fatawu and Edouard into the game much earlier to give us an attacking outlet. There will be people in this thread tonight making out he’s the messiah and everyone who doesn’t believe in him aren’t Leicester fans and want to see the team fail blah blah blah but the writing is still on the wall, with better finishing from Bournemouth today they win that game and we’d be in the bottom 3.
  20. Considering the talent that has emerged from our academy, it’s disgusting that Cooper’s broken that ongoing record since 2018.
  21. Cooper’s a spacker.
  22. Cooper’s a spacker. Pass it on.
  23. Hermansen JJ Okoli Vestergaard Kristiansen Winks Pereira Fatawu Ndidi Mavididi Vardy I would play this against Bournemouth and encourage them to keep the ball, be aggressive when it opens up and get back to enjoying it.
