  1. You know when we are 3-0 down on Monday night. It’s gonna get very ****ing nasty towards the board and I don’t think they are remotely prepared for it.
  2. The tax issues are around residency and wealth. If you’ve left the country to live elsewhere and come back before a set period of time has elapsed, you have to pay HMRC tax on income earned whilst you were living abroad. So essentially he would be taxed twice on his money.
  3. I’d say it’s more likely we go for both Hlozek and the Greek lad. Cooper likes a big boy up top and I can see Hlozek playing the wide striker role that he had Brennan Johnson playing for the red *****.
  4. We keep hiring managers who have no intention of utilising the talented players in the academy and it’s gone beyond just frustrating now. You look at teams like Liverpool and the 2 Manchester clubs and they roll the young lads out in pre-season and expose them to the first team, there’s a clear pathway to the first team at these clubs, you just have to be good enough to get there. Man Utd literally built a business model from giving their academy lads a few first team runs out with the full knowledge that they were just doing it to increase the transfer fee they would sell them on for. It’s criminal that Sammy B, Alves, Nelson and Golding haven’t had more game time this pre-season. Use the young lads, they are the future!
  5. What the dopey twat should play if he sticks with his current idea of pushing the LB high: Hermansen Nelson (Tucking in to make a back 3 with the ball) Vestergaard Faes JJ Winks Pereira Fatawu Buonnanotte Mavididi Daka/Cannon/Zaha (🤞🏻)
  6. Genuinely, did you really expect a squad that’s just won the Championship and been exposed to a really progressive way of playing football to buy into anti-football tactics?
  7. Honestly you couldn’t make it up with our fan base. This club was in the pits of hell in footballing terms when Maresca came in. We’d gone from being a side pushing for Top 4 and winning the FA cup to being relegated within a season. The majority of our best players had left and Maresca came in and changed the vibe around the club instantly. All through pre-season there were signs that what he wanted to do excited the players and they bought into it. He then wins the league in arguably the most competitive Championship this country has seen in decades and gets lambasted by footballing dinosaurs because “possession football is boring” and “anyone would have got that squad up”. Fast forward 3 months and those that couldn’t wait to see the back of Maresca are now making excuses for this shithouse that we now have in charge by trying to make out the squad he’s inherited, that “anyone would have got up” is now dog shit and was always doomed for relegation.
  8. If Steve Cooper didn’t feel he could work with the talent that we have within the squad and the players emerging from the academy such as Nelson, Braybrooke and Alves then he should never have took the ****ing job. Imagine walking into a work place as the man in charge and constantly saying to anyone who will listen that what you have around the gaff isn’t good enough and we need new staff. It genuinely beggars belief.
  9. Stop with this bollocks because no one is buying it. This team was playing some serious football last season and he’s got them looking like they have all turned up on the first day of pre-season and met each other for the first time.
  10. Just goes to show how bollocks the coaching badge requirements are. Will Still has barely completed his UEFA Pro licence and he made Cooper look like a Sunday park manager.
  11. He’s a dog shit manager. He’s been living off winning a youth World Cup when he was blessed with some of the best youngsters England have produced for too long now. This team looks a shell of what it was 3 months ago.
  12. There’s ****ing no chance Okoli is better than Ben Nelson.
  13. I feel sorry for the fans who’ve gone to France for this. This team looks lost.
  14. Can’t wait to hear all the “pragmatic” football supporters come out and defend Steve Cooper and his merry band of ****wits he calls his backroom staff.
  15. Genuinely it can’t get much worse than this.
  16. I’m not having that Alves wouldn’t be any better than Bobby Reid. Bloke looks like he’s never played football before.
  17. Now that it is so easy to sign players from South America, post Brexit, I can see a flood of attacking full backs coming into the Premier League from that region. So many great options, Southampton have just snapped up Welington Damascena absolute baller at LB. There are gems available, we just need to be bold with our decision making and ignore Cooper’s demands for premier league proven players.
  18. Would you have said the same if Enzo Maresca was still in charge?
  19. No one is denying he’s a good player, most people are disillusioned with the club being in a position where we are having to sign players on loan from clubs in our league. Without an option to buy, if he has an amazing season here (like we all hope), all we’ve done is improve Brighton’s first team or line their pockets for more money out of his future transfer.
  20. The club will keep losing its best academy talent if they see no pathway to the first team. Signing young players from rival teams in your own league, on loan, with no option to make it permanent, screams poverty club with no sporting direction.
  21. He’s brought Bobby DC Reid in to play straight away, didn’t exactly set the world alight today, Will Alves is at a crucial point in his development, if we can’t give him more game time than 8 minutes in pre-season then something is wrong with the development pathway at our club.
  22. Cooper. Ric is right, he’s got a record of working with young players in football and he’s shown **** all appetite to do it here in pre-season. I don’t know if not using Alves or Golding is a tactic to force the clubs hand on transfers but both of their potential is being stagnated by him.
  23. He’ll be gone by December.
  24. Tell me you don’t know football, without telling me you don’t know football…
  25. What is the ****ing point of giving someone 8 minutes in pre-season. Honestly I ****ing hate Steve Cooper. Shit Forest ****.
