Yet to find one example of when anyone has ever credited this attitude with keeping them up. The Cup's a free hit to breed a winning mentality again.
-
Harborough at home would have been rubbish for a fair few thousand in the ground who support both. Fancy a northern away I've never done before.
-
Ha! Serious point to be had here too. Majority of that end will have been Leicester too, but the more LCFC act like they do, the more Leicestershire non-league clubs (and Kettering etc) will benefit from better gates as people become disillusioned. Hope these kind of clubs do benefit and that people don't just stop watching football wholesake when they've eventually had enough of the KPFC Circus.

Proud Harborian today. Gutted not to have been there, but life gets in the way sometimes. We can debate the club's bank balance etc till the cows come home, but any non-league club taking 3,000 to a shit-tip like Reading on a Sunday is a good effort. Love the buzz it's given to the town (not bad limbs for an alleged "rugby town" either ). Shame on the broadcasters for letting worries about Reading fans protesting stop them from putting it on the box. Absolute fannies.

Wild ride. Free to air TV's loss is dodgy streams' gain. Buckle up... COME ON 'ARBRAH!!
-
So buzzing for all my mates who could make it. Defending well at the moment, think there are more goals to come.

Nags Head in Harborough opening at 7am tomorrow for pre-travel boozing. Love that place.

Ah so close to an equaliser. Love that the Beeb keep showing this every year. Beat use of taxpayers' money going.

Cricket (None Leicestershire County Cricket Club)

Slightly weird watching the Talksport stream of them commentating at the ground. My usual reliable streaming sites seem to have fallen recently. -
Feel like it was a midweek game away at Everton? Maybe 1997?
-
Would he also have commentated on Leicestershire's Championship victories in '96 and '98? I know he did do cricket commentary sometimes on Radio Leicester too.

Both great men. Bleddyn was my mum's boss for a bit and, despite only meeting me a couple of times, always asked her how I was doing whenever she'd see him later in his life. As for Nev, all I can add is that he handled me incredibly well as a weird child who got on the football phone-in a couple of times. Met him once as an adult and he was as I hoped he'd be. A little bit of our club's history's died today.

What proof have you given? Why have you signed, out of interest?
-
The burden of proof's not on me. The only people I've seen admitting to signing any petition so far are people who'd never vote Labour in the first place, bots from abroad, and absolute fvcking morons who think quoting Magna Carta is a genuine legal defence.
-
Even if that ends up being true, it's true of pretty much any government in history voted in. Don't recall seeing this kind of hysterical nonsense (as you rightly point out) before though. So any time a PM doesn't have great personal ratings in the polls we should have an election?

I wouldn't bother putting an acca on this weekend.

Some of the open letters to King Charles doing the rounds are absolutely incredible.

Keep hoping someone will finally sort out doing Bernard Cornwell's Azincourt, given the success of The Last Kingdom. Would also like to see The Abstainer by Ian McGuire done for TV. I'll throw a non-fiction one in too. A Harold Larwood biopic based on Duncan Hamilton's biography would be really, really good.

A Round Corner Frisby lager in The Castle (first time in there - good gaff) followed by a pint of the Blue Boar's own ale. Both places rammed post-match, great to see given the shite weather and worse football.
-
Just knew it was going to happen too. Our fans are so weird for this kind of stuff.

Leicester City and VfL Bochum - Blue and White Friendship
Voll Blau replied to AndWhat?'s topic in Leicester City Forum
Bloke seems harmless but how hard is it to quickly google the name of the river next to the ground? As mentioned, even a quick DM to someone involved would have made that vid a lot more interesting. Ah well, if it sparks an interest for even one person on either side then it's no bad thing. -
Harborough on to take 3,000+ to Reading. Not bad for a gaff everyone else in Leicestershire is so quick to call a rugby town...
-
Oh man, that's horrible to read.

Wife's 50th is next year... Sint Maarten, we love, or Curacao?

Try asking in here. Always good recommendations from FT's Jetsetters... -
