  1. Tin of Badger Outland ginger pale ale. Solid winter swig.
  2. Is it just me that doesn't manage to see all the horrible shit on Twitter that everyone else does then? Just keep your feed set to 'Following' and don't follow any dickheads?
  3. Yep, definitely. Just a shame the ground's not more central - reckon they'd average gates in the high hundreds if Symo's was a proper ground, for example.
  4. Not sure what's wrong with that though? If it gets people into following the club more then I don't see the problem? Just good to see a bit of pride in the town given how diluted its identity's become in recent years.
  5. Had to have one of our pets put to sleep this morning. Easily the most heartbreaking decision I've ever had to make. Fvcking horrible.
  6. Bochum via Eurostar in February, so hoping to fit in at least one new ground as well while over there. Hoping for Düsseldorf if kick-offs fall alright, as I was meant to go there when the pandemic happened. Crossing the border for the Limburg derby is a tempter, having been to Maastricht before, but not sure I'd be in a state to get there for 12.15 on a Sunday. Also pretty sure Roda fans are banned.
  7. They have bottles of Efes on display, so most serve beer at least? Treated myself today as a Monday pick-me-up at lunch. As said, very good for its catchment area.
  8. That's a special kind of special. Fvck me.
  9. Theres a blatant difference between normal football fan hyperbole in chants and just coming across as thick idiots who think football began in 2016 though.
  10. Look like they're having a top time. Hard not to on a Saturday night over there after a late equaliser against the current champions!
  11. Worst of all worlds for Harborough. Not on TV, but no Saturday 3pm either. Same with the Staffordshire derby. Really poor from the broadcasters not to pick at least one of them.
  12. Salt and Archer getting runs. The two lads raised in Barbados know the conditions...
  13. The club was always built on a solid youth structure (it was a junior-only club at times in the past) so I think there'll always be something there.
  14. Absolutely wild. Not that long ago I was watching them when a lad I know was in the First XI puffing away on 10 Marlboro Lite pre-match before spending the game sweating out the night before in the Nags! At least a couple I know/vaguely remember from school. Got to accept it'll crash down at some point but us Harborough folks have got to enjoy the ride for now after decades of not having a decent football team.
  15. Box holders dishing out advice about how to get a good atmosphere going now, is it?
  16. Hope not. I could get to a Saturday 3 but would struggle with others. Think it'll be the inevitable Sunday lunchtime shitshow game.
  17. 4-0. Buzzing for the lads I know who've gone.
  18. Longer. Absolutely crazy how opposed LCFC have been to this for so long.
  19. Charnwood Hubble Bubble at the Fox Cub, Barrow. Not bad given I was told it was bottom of the barrel gear. Also rated the new red ale Everard's are doing (forget its name) which I tried last night.
  20. The irony that he's using his phone during the game, not just to take the pic but to post it online too. #woke
  21. "Your city is blue..." too. What other colours would ours be, you absolute trouts.
  22. Pleased to see Mulder do well. Doubt we'll see him in a Leicestershire shirt for some time, if ever again.
  23. Aberdeen were the real pioneers, but the Old Firm involvement really kicked it on loads and you say. Scottish people are more up for a enjoying themselves than English people in general, and also get that football's meant to be fun. Plus, they get that bouncing all game will make you warmer than standing still looking moody, checking your bets all game and getting the badge in for Insta likes.
  24. ECB reaping what they've shown over the course of two decades, turning cricket into a minority sport from a position of strength. So depressing.
  25. They do. Was in there last Saturday, still very good. Two mins from the station too so handy for out-of-towners, plus the Beerhouse, Freemasons and Cherry Tree all within easy walking distance.
