  1. Wild ride. Free to air TV's loss is dodgy streams' gain. Buckle up... COME ON 'ARBRAH!!
  2. So buzzing for all my mates who could make it. Defending well at the moment, think there are more goals to come.
  3. Nags Head in Harborough opening at 7am tomorrow for pre-travel boozing. Love that place.
  4. Ah so close to an equaliser. Love that the Beeb keep showing this every year. Beat use of taxpayers' money going.
  5. Slightly weird watching the Talksport stream of them commentating at the ground. My usual reliable streaming sites seem to have fallen recently.
  6. Feel like it was a midweek game away at Everton? Maybe 1997?
  7. Would he also have commentated on Leicestershire's Championship victories in '96 and '98? I know he did do cricket commentary sometimes on Radio Leicester too.
  8. Both great men. Bleddyn was my mum's boss for a bit and, despite only meeting me a couple of times, always asked her how I was doing whenever she'd see him later in his life. As for Nev, all I can add is that he handled me incredibly well as a weird child who got on the football phone-in a couple of times. Met him once as an adult and he was as I hoped he'd be. A little bit of our club's history's died today.
  9. What proof have you given? Why have you signed, out of interest?
  10. The burden of proof's not on me. The only people I've seen admitting to signing any petition so far are people who'd never vote Labour in the first place, bots from abroad, and absolute fvcking morons who think quoting Magna Carta is a genuine legal defence.
  11. Even if that ends up being true, it's true of pretty much any government in history voted in. Don't recall seeing this kind of hysterical nonsense (as you rightly point out) before though. So any time a PM doesn't have great personal ratings in the polls we should have an election?
  12. I wouldn't bother putting an acca on this weekend.
  13. Some of the open letters to King Charles doing the rounds are absolutely incredible.
  14. Keep hoping someone will finally sort out doing Bernard Cornwell's Azincourt, given the success of The Last Kingdom. Would also like to see The Abstainer by Ian McGuire done for TV. I'll throw a non-fiction one in too. A Harold Larwood biopic based on Duncan Hamilton's biography would be really, really good.
  15. A Round Corner Frisby lager in The Castle (first time in there - good gaff) followed by a pint of the Blue Boar's own ale. Both places rammed post-match, great to see given the shite weather and worse football.
  16. Just knew it was going to happen too. Our fans are so weird for this kind of stuff.
  17. Bloke seems harmless but how hard is it to quickly google the name of the river next to the ground? As mentioned, even a quick DM to someone involved would have made that vid a lot more interesting. Ah well, if it sparks an interest for even one person on either side then it's no bad thing.
  18. Harborough on to take 3,000+ to Reading. Not bad for a gaff everyone else in Leicestershire is so quick to call a rugby town...
  19. Oh man, that's horrible to read.
  20. Try asking in here. Always good recommendations from FT's Jetsetters...
  21. Amended. Autocorrect making me out to be Nathan Barley ffs.
  22. Tin of Badger Outland ginger pale ale. Solid winter swig.
  23. Is it just me that doesn't manage to see all the horrible shit on Twitter that everyone else does then? Just keep your feed set to 'Following' and don't follow any dickheads?
  24. Yep, definitely. Just a shame the ground's not more central - reckon they'd average gates in the high hundreds if Symo's was a proper ground, for example.
  25. Not sure what's wrong with that though? If it gets people into following the club more then I don't see the problem? Just good to see a bit of pride in the town given how diluted its identity's become in recent years.
