UFS have turned up.
-
Keep politics out of it ffs. I've seen pro and anti KP posts from people of all different political persuasions.
-
Can't stand their normal stuff but Carlsberg Export is a solidly reliable tin. One that I don't want to like but I do.
-
If you want to avoid detection, that's how you do it. It's not getting in if anyone working for the club sees it.
-
Shires at Peatling was still going strong when I last went, though I think it's since changed hands.
-
Tape it round your body.

It wasn't meant to come across that way. You clearly care and want to contribute, which is great. All I'm saying is more people like you need to get actively involved in running the movement.
-
1) Everybody who's KP Out should be in the Foxes Trust already. No-brainer. 2) Needs people to stick their hands up and start being the public-facing organisers. 3) Fine on a personal level but the numbers will never be big enough for this to seriously force change. 4) No point. Too much of the protest movement to this point obsesses to the point of fixation on vocal pro-KP gobshites (clown emoji man, for example), taking the focus away from the actual issue. It's immensely frustrating to see. If people don't see it now, they never will. 5) ? Right now, it feels like people are basically expecting UFS to save their club and front the movement. That's fine, in my opinion, but it only works if people actually start rallying around them in real life. If they don't, we're doomed.

The people of East Leicestershire will be so proud of being included in such a list for their county which, for the avoidance of doubt, is Leicestershire.
-
They have the rights. Other radio stations can't cover One Day Cup games, even though the Beeb stopped bothering with group games last year.

Rae's departure confirmed... https://www.thecricketer.com/Topics/county-cricket-premium/county_supporters_protest_removal_awarding_winning_leicestershire_commentator.html?t=639118461589682131

They'll be getting some cash from YouTube ads and presumably aren't paying a day rate to whoever's operating it. Keeps interest up when the 1sts aren't on. It's a nice touch for fans able to watch and got more than 5k views in total over the course of the day.

Good to see 2nd XI games being streamed this year...
-
To think a fair few (guilty myself) were questioning whether he was a worthwhile signing after Swindells' exploits in the Cup final. Bloody hell you're cobbing some unpopular opinions about today! What's next, "Knock down the Friends of Grace Road's cake shop"?
-
What leverage is there though? 66 blokes get a Shield gig each round vs 198 here. Plenty go over to Grade Cricket each winter and come back better players. We also need to remember county cricket is about more than just serving England. It's worthwhile in itself. People do down Championship crowds but they're the envy of the Shield and part of the attraction is the diversity of talent on show. I'm not sure a draft solves things either? Would you really want the ECB spending cash on a talent pool of overseas players for the counties to pick from?
-
So you're saying we should ban oversea players entirely? If you were on about some of the bang average overseas milking county cricket during the Kolpak era, I'd agree, but overseas players have always had a role in our game. They raise standards, make the Championship more marketable and test our best. You had two or three Surrey blokes who want to be in the England frame bowling at Australia's Test opener yesterday.
-
Why?
-
It should be the easiest ground in the country to attract good Championship crowds to, but Surrey still do a great job at making sure that actually happens. Not many of the other Test venues manage to. So pleased for Hill today, looked so nervous until he got off the mark.

Latest Fan Advisory Board (FAB) Meeting

Not even there. Was the Nottingham franchise of the made-up Hundred nonsense. Imagine being a nodding dog was a prerequisite for getting that role. -
He's gone to Jamaica with the aim of getting a West Indies call-up... https://www.thecricketer.com/Topics/premiumfeatures/best_form_life_county_cricket_cast_off_eyeing_west_indies.html?t=639041548523611163 Wush him luck but he's no better than any seamer we have on our permanent staff.
-
I do think Holland needs to drop down and ideally stop opening the bowling too. Putting a hell of a burden on himself. Would bat him above Cox though for the reasons @Stadt outlined about Cox's ability to steady a rapidly sinking ship.

Cricket (None Leicestershire County Cricket Club)

Really good to see as I think they'll keep faith with him. Think he got into his own head about what "batting with the tail" is meant to mean. Hope he's back off form at The Oval next weekend, mind! -
No "potentially" about it, the lad can bat. Crane showing against Yorkshire what can be done in early April at a club that backs spin. Time for us to embrace it more too, I think.
-
Sussex all basically playing to put themselves in the shop window for other counties after their recent financial news. Arguably not a worse time to play them, especially a full set of seamers down.
