It was 30 pretty much all week for us. Pleasant enough with a breeze.

From the friendly the other day I'd say we looked fitter than we have done in previous pre seasons. There were a couple of occasions we lost the ball and the whole team immediately triggered into a really strong recovery run. Do get though that we changed the full XI so there isn't an excuse to not be fresh but it's a decent sign. Punished myself by watching some of the Lens friendly back from last summer and we looked like we'd spent 4 weeks at the buffet.

So the shops that don't have a captive audience and a monopoly aren't doing well? But I was told that these people were experienced businessmen !

I'm guessing the aerial duels thing was just the worst point of the stats. Given Stadt's track record if he's saying the stats for those three seasons were crap then I'll take his word for it.
