Get Steve Walsh (former scout) to work with the club again in some capacity...

Realistic Managerial Replacements
foxtillidrop replied to winteriscoming's topic in Leicester City Forum
We need a results driven manager who wants to keep clean sheets and pickup points. Send players out on loan if they need developing for the future e.g. as we've done in the past with KDH, Barnes etc -
I rate Winks...a good manager would have built a team around him and JJ in midfield...
-
Ffs this isn't academy football... This is professional football with paying fans...we have expectations...from winning the prem 10 years ago to this - a royal **** up

I don't understand, how has he paid to be with us? Presume hd hasn't physically paid the club with cash, but may have given up some form of compensation due from his old club? The in game management from the staff and players has been diabolical - we've dropped about 15 points having squandered the lead on countless occassions straight after half time.

Be interesting to see how many season ticket holders potentially don't renew for the 26/27 season. Had my season ticket around 11 years but losing the passion for it after seeing our demise - painful to watch and is impacting my general mental wellbeing negatively. The general standard, hunger of the players and fitness levels have dropped away like anything. Feels as though we are stuck financially and that we don't have the right expertise to steer the club in the right direction.

Realistic Managerial Replacements

Not saying he would be the right man but would Steven Gerrard be interested? Wellens seems like a good shout to me, knows the club and worked under Vichai and Nige previously... -
Honestly think we have more raw quality but are lacking the necessary leadership, firstly from the management, and then on the pitch. Vestergard sets the worst example as he is the laziest bugger on the field, swanning around. He should have sorted the initial cross for their first goal easily but his feet were too slow. The right manager wod have managed to get a tune out of winks, soumare, faes, ricardo but the manager has lost them all...

The fitness of the current crop vs previous sides is also embarassing... The players these days can only play 40 - 60 minutes before gassing out... Bristol were more dominant second half all over the park - shocking setup from the manager -

Abysmal management second half...the number of times we've taken the lead to then squander it is unforgiveable... -
Vichai would have sacked this fool by now.

This manager isn't a leader and we are lacking leadership throughout the team. The manager clearly doesn't want 3 points enough...we'll never get out with him in charge..get rid -

Get rid of this manager...awful...he's had enough time....sort it out...how can you start the second half like that? We couldn't string two passes together second half. -

Home and Away Support/Atmosphere

Does anyone feel like the stewarding is over the top these days... Feels like airport security on the way in to the ground...and then bright jackets circulating pitchside with 10 minutes of the game to go...proper distracting and kills any atmosphere... -

Leicester 1 - 1 Wrexham POST MATCH

We look toothless....all the posession in the world but no goal threat, and no urgency to get shots in on goal to secure 3 points... We should have put the game to bed in the first half with all that posession going towards the kop... Every time we've been promoted we've had a good strikeforce whether Dikov/Deane, Nugent/Vardy. This side lacks any sort of threat up top. -
Unreal moment from an average player?

Ben Marshall scored this goal at chelsea away in the fa cup, was a great goal -
My guess is that the KP loan receivable is novated/transferred from KP to Top. As a result, Top then owes KP the balance which he can settle by cash one day, or leave outstanding. Top also then converts the loan receivable from lcfc into shares in his name personally.
-
Exactly, well embarassing...
-
I would be mindful and respectful to Top who lost his father in an air accident at the KP... Top and the board are only human at the end of the day... I'm sure he knows things aren't great but his hands are tied with the new psr rules. These are complex rules and were probably designed to stop clubs like us from having the recent success we've enjoyed...

We just need a new manager... Baffles me how many fans are interested in playing style than survival....Cooper had us above the relegation zone, creating chances and fighting in games - way too early to sack him and we are giving Ruud all the time in the world. Keeping the faith with Ruud in the championship would be too big a risk. He is working a club legend down to the bone by playing him for 90 mins, and persisting with these lazy midfielders that we have playing for us... The fitness levels are no where near the 15/16 side. Too much rondo at the seagrave golf and leisure resort. The decision making and team selection capacity just isn't there. The goal drought record is crazy... Cannot see any way back now. Wolves would need to throw it away and we would need a miracle.
-
At least we were scoring goals and creating chances under Cooper, and we were outside of the relegation zone. We have deteriorated significantly under RVN. Need to change the manager now to give the next manager any chance of picking up points over the last 5 games of the season.
