  1. You guys know you can hold the flush button down until the bowl's clear, right?
  2. Well that's the back of one useless public servant named after the male sex organ, now lets do the other one.
  3. If you link it I will.
  4. You sound like a rebellious teenager. I agree that you shouldn't take everything your leaders say as gospel (I wish you'd taken this stance a bit more during the Trump years instead being a pro-Trump, anti-democrat reactionary the whole time), but it's equally illogical to take the polar opposite stance of choosing to believe a foreign adversary who have been blatantly agitating in the region for years. I understand the argument from one corner that the burgeoning relationship between the Ukraine and Western powers is an act of soft war against Russia, however that only really works as an argument for a retaliatory show of force if you're already firmly in the pro-Putin camp which has an interest in Russia occupying a foreign country. It completely excludes consideration for what Ukraine want so it's hardly realistic to call it the impartial take.
  5. Yes, on the one side there's the tale of a country wanting to democratically join an international cooperation treaty, in part for security and the ability to better defend itself. On the other side there's the tale of a different country whose leader wants to prevent that country gaining these benefits and has threatened nuclear war if we don't let them occupy a foreign state. The former is highly aggressive and confrontational, the latter is perfectly peaceful and justified behaviour, right?
  6. What an utterly bizarre take, 'good people on both sides' kind of energy. It's the sort of thing you'd expect to hear from someone receiving Russian money to muddy the debate.
  7. Mother. Flippin. Feathers.

  9. Don't come crying to me when they put you on a list...
  10. Been looking forward to Advance Wars for a while. Fire Emblem might be decent as might the new Mario football game. I've never had a chance to play Earthbound so it's nice to have that opportunity too. It probably won't matter, I don't believe 2 was linked to 1 in any way, not heavily anyway. Hopefully they've dialled back on the weebery for this one, XC2 is frankly uncomfortable to play at times.
  11. Sounds like an upsetting breakfast.
  12. It's like appointing Brendan as secretary of state for defence.
  13. Why don't we just disbar the whole force and let the journalists run the investigations? They're the only ones digging into things.
  14. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-60318610 The Trumpisms keep on coming. Apparently it's just a loud minority who care about governmental rule breaking, fortunately our government are working for the silent majority, the 'real people'. Does anybody still support this lot and if so are you able to explain why their behaviour is tolerable without slandering the opposition? @I am Rod Hull you seem like someone with something to say about this lot, you must have had plenty of time deliberating how to put your thoughts to paper by now, surely?
  15. Wordle 235 3/6* 🟨⬛⬛⬛⬛ ⬛🟨🟨⬛🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 I got it in 3 so I shouldn't be mad, but I still am.
  16. Fair and balanced.
  17. A Scotsman moves to Canada and one day he visits the local bar where he notices the framed head of a large animal on the wall, he asks the Bartender what it is. "A moose" says the Bartender. "Fvck me, how big are the cats here?!"
  18. How hard did you look? (Spoiler tagged to save you all loading a bunch of tweets but I looked up all the handles visible in the tweet and found the capped comments within seconds each time. If you look through each account they're clearly trolls, it's just a question of who started their weird little campaign.)
  19. Oh they absolutely called him a traitor too, I just think it would have helped if one of them had thought to clarify they were talking about his lack of Covid opposition, the bad eggs yelling about protecting paedos have really muddled the message there.
  20. Were they? All I heard was a bit of angry yelling about freemasons and paedo protectors. You've done very well to interpret their very valid concerns.
  21. The thing about becoming a politician is it puts you in a public role where your words and deeds can and should be scrutinised by the people of the country. If a politician says or does something controversial they generally expect to be confronted about it by angry members of the public. The problem with this incident is that the angry members of the public are acting on a falsehood which got signal boosted by our Prime Minister in the HOC who now refuses to admit he lied, like he always does, just like he did with the red bus and his stance on EU membership. Don't drag general politic dissent into this. Lewis too. The party line is clearly that Boris wasn't lying, he was making a valid point about the buck-stops-here nature of leading a large organisation. I wonder how long it will be before the sycophants who buy into the argument realise that same logic should be applied to Johnson's management of the country.
  22. Alright I've finished the game, all main and side missions completed I'm just grinding out research points now to get that 10th star. As a long standing fan of the series I've really enjoyed it. Running around an open world where you have to actively throw out your pokemon to initiate battles which take place in that open world ticks so many boxes I've had in my head since childhood. I really enjoy being an actual pokemon researcher, the mechanic of needing to engage each monster multiple times in different ways depending on the species does a great job of encapsulating the childhood dream of actually completing a pokedex. I'm also a big fan of the new stance system, being able to moderate the amount of damage you do depending on whether you want to keep a wild pokemon alive, ensure a killing blow, or just sneak a buff/debuff/heal move in before you attack adds an extra tactical element and it adds to the immersion of being a trainer in the field commanding how your pokemon uses a move, just like how we used to see being done in the anime as kids. So the overall gameplay experience was a big positive for me. That said it's far from a perfect game, obviously the graphics have been memed to high hell for being embarrassing. I will say there are moments where the game looks quite pretty but they're fleeting and rarely more than brief glimpses, it's baffling to me that nobody at Nintendo HQ with all their experience squeezing maximum graphical fidelity out of limited systems has knocked down the doors at Gamefreak and forced a bit of that know how upon them. Beyond that the storyline in my opinion is once again just meh. I won't go into detail but to sum up my feelings it's a continuation of the downward trend in Pokemon campaign stories since the pinnacle of the Black/White games. My last big complaint is the lack of much opportunity for trainer combat, the researching and general combat mechanics replicate the imagined experience of being a real life trainer so well that it's almost cruel to then stop short of letting us really take all of that and put it to the test against other trainers. There are a couple of good battles and there is the training area which eventually becomes available for single battles and unlocks more combatants as you progress the story, but it really feels like a missing element. All in all I'd say it's a good game, not a great one, but the changes are really positive. I saw one guy describe it as like playing a proof of concept and I think that's probably the best way to put it. All the core elements are there, with the right DLC it could easily become the best pokemon title since gen 5. The most important thing though is it indicates a massive change from a company that had long developed a reputation for stagnant design. If the next game can build on that willingness to improve, fix the clapped out graphics and introduce a compelling story with challenging trainer battles thrown in then we may well have a masterpiece on our hands, but that's probably just wishful thinking.
