  1. It's better than Leicester for sure. Great grandma kitchens, proper old school 5 dish, est what's given places. Rustic street food stalls that cook infront of u Cracking veggie, meat, fish, dhaba places. Distinct regions of bengaline, punjabi, kashmiri, keratin. Great places with great craft beer. Place where it gets bit seedy and exotic. Live bhangra artists.....the place has it all. And cheaper. Recommend your top 5 places in Leicester.
  2. St Joselph Else, Market square, next level of drinking
  3. I don't tend to eat on Maid Marian Way or eat Indian in Nottingham, overpriced unless u eat between 5-7pm. Emerald is very hit and miss. I used to eat at Desi Junction, there both lamb chops were amazing, Shama when the chefs in for a take away is not bad. For vegetarian Bombay used to be good, they've gone too commercial. Some of the dhaba's aren't bad. Leicester has more variety, but again neither are really that good.
  4. Ok, I eat on the golden mile/Leicester probably about every 2-3 weeks, there ok, nothing magic that I would lick my fingers to death, hence why I ask. I grew up with alot of the owners kids and my dad did alot of business with those restaurants including Bobby's, Sharmilees, Blue Peter. Also knew the original chart house an old hot potato shop Tamatanga and Mowgli are chains not Nottingham brands, so try again.
  5. spoken like to true fool!!

  7. Thanks for telling me, I didn't realise, even after been born and living there for over 25 years. I'm interested where these proper Indians are and what u would recommend?

  15. Also near Nottingham airport where I'm learning to fly. Cracking place
  16. Been down there a few times for canoeing etc, close enough to WB for beers after
  17. Totally disagree, majority of my family live in Leicester, they much chose to come wine, dine, and enjoy in Notts. I was in Leicester over Xmas, during the period it was relatively dead at night. So we all caught a train and went there instead. Notts has so many layers, it's got WB, Beeston, Ruddington, Sneinton all easily to get to by tram or walking etc
  18. His subscriptions including broadband, mobile and sky agreement doesn't end until july
  19. Let's judge them at the end of the season, defo better then us
  20. Defined by myself and by me
  21. I don't understand what people expect of him. He isn't spectacular at anything, but he wouldn't have signed for a championship club if he was. Works hard and gives 100%, and he will make mistakes.
  22. Already is....
  23. On Bassey I was told he was too far in the pecking.
  24. Why pay £xxxx mile then
