  1. The problem is who will come? The two excellent Celtic midfielders the media have linked us with will be attracted quite obviously to the big clubs eg Chelsea etc etc. in the Championship we had style and a charismatic manager, but although we achieved our objective after hiring Cooper we have gone backwards, no style, basically confusion.
  2. The problem for me is Cooper, is he going to attract top guys who can run and change the game ?
  3. He may not last that long if we continue playing at the preseason standard. I cannot seeing winning any games, we look like a Division 1 team.
  4. Last season at times we played attractive attacking football and succeeded in the main objective. We have lost one main player KDH, but more importantly losing the manager with his style and tactics could prove to be disastrous. We have replaced him with someone who seems to know what he wants ,but basically does not know how to do it. We needed an inspirational manager who would attract new recruits and that is one of the reasons the best players we really will need are turning us down. Although there have been a handful of new signings, not one of these is a potential game changer
  5. Under Enzo the players discovered a new style of playing and several stated it was the most enjoyable football they had ever played. Under Cooper their body language has changed, confidence levels have dropped and they don't look as if they are enjoying their football. LCFC have made a massive mistake
  6. If we get a large points reduction to start with, there’s a possibility we could be relegated by Christmas
  7. Oh dear, prepare for a disastrous premier league season. What a shambles, no attacking threat, no ideas. At least last season we developed a style of playing which achieved the result we wanted, whether you liked the style or not, it worked. Now we have absolutely no style, shape or basic structure, we looked like a side from Division 1. I must admit by selecting Cooper this is exactly what I expected.
  8. It’s what I thought from the beginning Cooper is not an inspirational manager and his transfer policy to date is starting to show exactly that.
  9. Bit like Notts Forest, quantity not quality
  10. He could lose the dressing room even before the season starts. He now dealing with a squad of prima Donna’s quite a different set-up to a championship squad.
  11. I few years ago I went to a lecture given by a very well known ex Scottish international footballer and he described in his career how transfers happen. He gave an instance where after training he was summoned into the managers office and told he had been sold to another club. He had no say whatsoever in the matter, he felt as was just a commodity so ff he went.
  12. Don’t BBC Sport like Leicestershire as I find it rather odd that yesterdays amazing win over Middlesex who had not lost a game this season and Leicestershires first win of the season was not even mentioned in the BBC Sports cricket reports. Unless my eyes have gone
  13. He is I read doing a business degree at the uni, so that could be a factor
  14. Offers nothing, batting or bowling
  15. Considering Sussex were 34-3 in their first innings we do not have the ability to finish them off.
  16. He will probably gone by Christmas, so keeping us up will not be down to him
  17. Appointed Cooper is a major backward step, I was quite optimistic if we hired Potter as the style of play would be a development of our last chap.
  18. He’s just resigned, is he the man?
  19. How many had our last manager?
  20. Next season is all about survival and I agree with a previous post tippy tappy football we have been playing will get us relegated. Our squad simply don’t have the same level of technical skills as the likes of Man City. We need a very experience manager who can grind out results with a slightly more conventional style of playing. Moyes has all the Premier League experience ,a safe pair of hands for the first season and assuming we survive, then reflect on where we are. Moyes would get my vote.
  21. Is it Thomas Frank ?
  22. Back in the Premier League we can’t take any risks with a new manager. He needs to be able to stabilise the situation with probable points reduction, then press on. That task requires experience and although I’m not great fan Moyes ticks many boxes for the job
  23. No loyalty, LCFC took a punt and gave him his big chance. First offer he’s off!
  24. Their eyes were on a record, not a result, big mistake
