  1. Much of the disconnection I feel is at football in general at the top level but the marketing nonsense and sheer greed playing on fans loyalties form LCFC have certainly contributed. Winning the league gave me the perfect chance to knock it all on the head (the Champions League run then gave me a second wind). Right now I'd say the next game I'm really looking forward to is the FA Cup 3rd round, after that Kingy's testimonial. When you see people on here come out with lines 'Oh just pay it FFS' regarding potential signings you realise the many fans are just as caught up as the owners, Execs, TV companies, agents etc. who have swallowed the game up. We ain't the same club, with huge expectation the catalyst, things like our away support will only be fixed with a relegation. I'll still go, purely for the craic with me mates but does the result bother me deep down, not one bit.
  2. No problem mate. I won't unfortunately - CL campaign has eaten up all my holiday and funds! It will probably be this time next year now when I next hop over now, I hope they'll have a hat-rick ball ready for me... Have a great trip.
  3. I'd recommend you go to Football Factory, superb atmosphere with great people. Last time I was over I stayed just down from where you are in Canal Street and walked up Broadway to FF, Its a decent walk seeing bits of the city you probably wouldn't otherwise, crossing Union Square and Madison Square Park. Will probably take 40 mins I should think. Of course the subway will get you there in about 15 mins but I'll leave it for the resident New Yorkers to tell you the exact one to get as I always ended up a few blocks off!
  4. Sung this for a bit in the stand at half time and non stop on all the trains taking us from Thornton Heath to Tower Hill after the game. Had half the carriage on the tube filming us at one point. Cracking song.
  5. Great to meet you all on Sat, top crowd in the FF and great scenes when Schluppo got the 2nd! Hopefully I'll be back for another game soon. Up the NY Foxes
  6. All the goals you bring Mean everything Oh Andy King, King, King, King Travis - Sing
  7. Piled on South Korea in normal time didn't I Did my bollocks early doors didn't I
  8. There you go. The greatest player on the planet anytime at 2/5 landing as well.
  9. 4 hours after your biggest win for 20 years and your on some other clubs forum dishing us the celebrations. Good grief.
  10. Whilst all of Cape town was incredible, if you can make sure do the Shark Diving at Gansbaa, companies like this will pick you up from Cape Town, its comfortably the best thing I've ever done. http://www.sharkcagediving.co.za/packages-tours/
  11. Courteeners was just pure chaos. In my top 5 gigs ever.
  12. Soar Valley Way....Every ****in' day.
  13. Piled on Ronaldo for Ballon D'or last night as soon as he fired his 3rd in at 5/2 (best price, which was on Totesport), one more goal and a night sleep later they have him down to evens. Best price now is Paddy Power and Bet Victor at 6/4. If he stays fit I'm sure no one can touch him for performance level alone not to mention winning the Champions League.
  14. Will be taking a small squad over to Brussels to see them for my 25th in November. Obviously armed with a few foxes flags. New album is sensational and Vicky Park was quite simply the best gig I've been to, the perfect day.
  15. Barca may have had a chance had they brought Messi on. Incredible from Bale, not just the goal all game he looked a huge threat. Firmly amongst the best in the world.
  16. Nothing like a bit of pride for you town is there! What a poor thread. I've had an extensive spell in Sheffield and currently work in Derby, with zero love for either. Leicester is still the only place outside London I'd want to live in. Some great places to go once people broaden their horizons.
  17. As someone who stood at Dortmund (on a terrace which isn't half as safe as what is being suggested here), over the weekend gone I feel I'm in a position to say that the points you are making are fu cking retarded. Actually learn about what it is you're discussing for Christ sake.
  18. Listen to Durham everyday and you'll realise he does a good job and knows his stuff. He makes my daily commute home everyday just about barable. He's a posh fan, he'll come out with something every week on who they play, for a laugh except his point this week isnt miles away in my opinion. From my view in the seats (as I took my youth team of 11/12 year olds) there was space, people just don't have a clue how to act or how terraces work these days. Plenty of clubs takes those numbers and get on fine, the overreation in this thread is pretty pathetic.
  19. Afternoon dragging at work so I jumped in on the e/w also. Nice One LP.
  20. Thing is with Brum like many, us included have their days just maybe once, twice a season now. Eg last season what 16k? v us on the Sunday then they take 10k over to Bruges for a jolly up in the week. Personally I love that.
  21. That version is fantastic. So much better than the Barcelona, Real Madrid one
  22. Leicester Score Bertie Mee said to Bill Shankley LCFC OK All had great airings at Norwich in pub and train, hopefully the same on Sunday. Only time we'll have them in ground is FA cup homes unfortunatly. Forest and Swindon were great, a replay v Chels would be buzzing also.
  23. It goest under the Holiday Inn roundabout and mosh, coming out right near Gala and the Travel lodge
  24. yep, do a bit of work for his coaching school and helped out that night getting the old warhouse home after a night on the Guiness, was in a royal tangle.
  25. Marshall chant is great on trains and in pubs, not sure we've aired it in the ground though but you can say that about many songs. I even sang it to him whilst giving him a lift home from a Q&A a year back, he loved it.
