This, I think a massive chunk will come from Ayew up top not being physically able to cover the ground and our full backs flat out refusing to overlap or make any movement, feel like James, Skipp and Reid cover a fair amount of ground in a 90
-
Should be all over him right now, loan to buy in the summer makes too much sense
-
If he is going to be able to function at all this season surely having been training with Brentford for 6 months and then us for a month is more then long enough to sign him and give him 10/20 here and there. Only reasons I can think is- A) He is not close to the level we need but we may end up signing him as a last resort like Carranza, hedging our bets B) We can’t afford a 35 year old coming off of a car crash on a free Both feel like terrible planning

Apathy today was at a new level and I don’t see it changing, I am now turning up because it’s my chance to see my mates, if I see 15 minutes of the match it is a good day. Think we are the mugs for making Leicester games our chance to be with eachothers and that is so sad to say. Truly do hope top gets lost in the sentinel island during his next trip over, just to give us a chance to recover from this big ugly nepo baby willy puller
-
The garbage we are seeing is not based on his or anyone else’s talent- who do we have outside of the 11 who are up to standard- a 16 year old and a loanee, heads need to roll

Losers at the loser football club. I have a day of golf and good times which will unfortunately end at the theatre of nightmares, who honestly cares anymore, let’s all laugh at Leicester

Remember back in the early 2010’s seeing(and most likely saying) some stuff which in hindsight was just silly about Schmeichel, and it was mainly his claiming of crosses and just distribution that people didn’t like. Since which he became on of the best distributors in the world with his feet. Give him time, keepers age at a different pace, he will almost certainly spend the majority of his career in a top league in Europe

Think he is such a solid player, at this level clearly way better than any given opposition week in/out, and last year he really wasn’t that bad, was really shopped in with the role we asked him to play. He was never going to be a Fatawu/Mavididi/Monga type, not his game. If we were to go up next year or two he would be a brilliant squad player if we don’t try to make him an isolated winger. Glad he is showing his ability, he was not a bad signing last year but was used so awfully, like asking Jonny Evans to play the JJ 8 role -
On his own wouldn’t change us into a top side, but having an actual striker who can back in and hold the ball and can run in behind and finish and win a header could make a massive difference for our other players, make more space for James/BDCR, stop the recent trend of 5/6 players surrounding Fatawu at all times. Ayew/Daka can be handled by one man, even an unfit Antonio I would fancy in a wrestling match with some of the lumps we will play over them
-
In the meantime whilst he’s gaining fitness he will still be big and strong enough to be better for the last 20 than Daka, ball may actually stick.
-
He could be on crutches, if he can stand in the right place and let the ball bounce off him and into the goal/to one of our players he beats Daka and Carranza outright
-
Couldn’t be more true, Marti isn’t great and some of the players haven’t covered themselves in glory but this is 95% the squad planning, multiple people on 6/7 figure salaries should be able to put together a functional group of employees, its management 101, not even football management, basic management that a manager at Maccies would probably require, hopefully the new TD sorts it out but I will bet it’ll be another KP pawn
-
Think Reid has shown pretty good leadership of late as has Skipp, apart from that it is depressingly scarce and no true Morgan/Huth style leader. Think Nelson would do best next to one, he doesn’t seem the commanding type
-
Want to start by clarifying that I do not think Marti has been good, but I do think we could cut a little bit of slack. Went into today without an out and out midfielder on the bench, makes it hard to make changes and James was clearly shattered. Really unsure why it wasn’t Ricardo/Aluko straight away. Really buzzing Daka is off to AFCON. Think the first two 3-0’s were some of the willy pullers on the pitch, think today was tiredness in large parts although he was wayyyy too negative. Derby we don’t really have any excuses for

Think this will happen at some point, Ricky will come on for Ayew/Fatawu/Mav -

Sorry but he is very clearly knackered, unless we fancy Ipswich at home with Skipp and one of Reid/Hamza/Winks/Soumare -

Think he’s been the best player on the pitch so far, deserved that goal. Also a reminder why you leave Fatawu on even off form -

Stol, Him, Nelson, Monga,Page and Fatawu is a cracking spine for the future, just need to sign around them and hope we don’t lose them
