Imagine backstabbing your former colleagues in such a public manner for making honest mistakes. Halsey was never that liked anyway.

You could bet your life a Lancs/Yorks/Surrey wouldn't have been docked the same.

Might be wrong but I don't think an asylum seeker/illegal immigrant has never committed or tried to commit a terrorist attack in this country.

Stringer stirring again.
-
Nope still bottom by 16 points.

Shiv broke his finger playing for England U19's. Wasn't happy with how Leicestershire managed his rehabilitation and for that reason he went to Derbyshire. The club actually say that they were working with the ECB on his rehab given that he got injured in an England game. It's all a bit messy but Shreck, NOB etc were giving him some stick on Friday as they weren't happy with his attitude towards the club.

Eckersley's run out at 1:10 here is an utter disgrace. Some aggro also between Thakor and a few of our players. They don't like the way he treated the club at the end of last season, very interesting to hear the other side of the story.
-
Apparently he gets on well with McDonald, basically a last shot in county cricket for him. He's totally wasted his talent so far imo.

We're basically the Crystal Palace of this time last year, from the outside it appears like utter turmoil and we're the most likely team outside of the newly promoted clubs to go down. Would put money on us repeating their success of last season.

You could police the threat inside the stadium but there is no way you could manage it outside. 30,000 people streaming out of a stadium in the same direction.
-
Exactly. I think it was either the express or mail this morning went with 'attack highly likely at wimbledon' but when you actually read the article, the highly likely refers to the terrorist threat level which is currently severe as it has been for the past 5+ years and that the police are stepping up security at Wimbledon to reassure the public after last weeks events so it's so far from the headline it's unbelievable.

I understand how bad and tragic the situation in Tunisia is but the media really like to **** us up in the head don't they.

I hate to say it but it all comes back to the original invasion of Iraq under Blair/Bush. To think that just a couple of years ago we were arming the opposition to Assad in Syria (ISIS) yet now we're the ones who need him to fight these scum off of the planet. Politicians do not have a clue, in fact the only person who predicted all of this was Vladamir Putin, but hey let's not listen to that crackpot of a man. The treatment that Shia Muslims get in the Middle East is probably the most disgusting thing out of all of this Islamic Extremism, looking at today's events in Kuwait. North Africa is a mess, mostly caused by Western Intervention, trying to bring democracy to countries where western style democracy just isn't compatible. Whether Gaddafi should've been captured or not is another debate but what it has done is created the conditions for a group like IS to thrive in North Africa. Obviously these people are pure evil and need to disappear but I despair at our future. As for generalisations of Islam, yes there is clearly an issue with how people interpret ideology (possibly just use it as an excuse to attack), but this is the minority. Don't fall into this 'religion of peace they said' nonsense that people come out with, these utter filth are not Muslims.

Seen him more often in Leicester/Loughborough nightclubs over the last couple of years than I have on the pitch.
-
I don't see why people get so butt hurt as to what it's labelled as? Lives have been lost unnecessarily and it's a tragedy.
-
We're a much better team than last year. Small steps. Stick with the lads.

Bit late but I was there on Friday and I would say that Atif Sheikh is quickest bowler I've ever seen in a Foxes shirt. Must've been bowling well over 90mph.

As a consequence and not as a cause. Thatcher is the reason these places are ruined.

Well this never materialised due to girls being girls. Now trying to persuade a mate to come to Leeds with me, I'm determined to get to a festival this summer as I've never been to one.
-
Terrible. A couple of months ago I paid £270 for a ticket to go to the IOW festival with my then GF and a couple of her mates. I was dumped a few weeks back through no fault of my own. I then tried selling my ticket on the web and tried getting mates to buy a ticket so that I didn't miss out. Unfortunately it's hard work getting people to pay £270 at such short notice so I've had to stay at home with my ticket unsold. The ex-GF has just text me to say that she has sold the ticket there for £50 and she'll transfer me the money over when she gets back. Personally, I think this is as spiteful as it gets, she is a true ostrich and I want a lot more than £50 from her.

Imo from experiences, drugs are a temporary fix, they never get to the root cause. CBT gives you the tools to beat it, but you still need the energy and chance to put those tools into play.

Since 14 (now 20) I've had crippling panic attacks over some of the most ridiculous things. My school work suffered very badly and my attendance was poor and was at an age where it was hard to talk to any mates about it. Had many occasions where I had these thoughts, especially on dark, cold winter nights sat alone in my room but never really had any thought of following through with it. Managed to scrape out enough to GCSE's to get into sixth-form where against the odds I managed to do quite well despite being told to leave several times by teachers who thought I was incapable (very dark times). I gained two strong A-levels, got into uni, gave it a go and just fell apart again and was forced out of the uni after barely a month. Couldn't get a job for months mainly due to anxiety and stuttering badly in interviews and I remember at one point for the first time thinking how I was going to kill myself. Luckily not long after I met an incredible girl and everything seemed to fall into place, I managed to get a spot at a different uni, moved away from home for the first time and all the feelings of anxiety, depression and despair have seemingly evaporated baring the odd episode which I can cope with. The relationship not long ago ended after 9 months due mainly to distance issues, but in that time I've completely transformed as a person and I'm determined that I will never go to those dark places again. I guess the message is that no matter how bad things are, it only takes one small event, one change of mindset or one piece of luck and you can beat this horrible illness. 99.9% of the time, there's always a better option.
