  1. Give them some credit, they’re playing the mighty Kairat Almaty which is further east than Mumbai.
  2. We’ve not been bad in the red ball games since June. We had the horror show v Middlesex but aside from that it’s been good enough. I think we severely lack squad depth which is not surprising for a club of our size. We’ve stacked our Red ball squad with quality all rounders but we’ve just lacked that star power in the white ball. I can’t see any counties that have competed well across all three formats this season? Patel’s dreadful season has also been a massive issue batting wise when you consider how good his white ball batting had been the past two seasons.
  3. Yep that’s all over now.
  4. Literally the best thing for KDH’s career was his season in the championship. Now look at him.
  5. Then what happens when reform policy isn’t hardcore enough for people? Will we work more collaboratively with Europe or will the certain parts of the public take matters into their own hands?
  6. Although it’s an issue, it’s insane to see how much air time the asylum seeker issue gets compared to how much of an issue it is to wayyyy more consequential stuff around housing, economics and defence.
  7. Did Reform miss the protests outside of Scampton (their heartland) when the idea was proposed to place asylum seekers there?
  8. Maybe the key is giving the Notting Hill crowd and unlimited supply of mushrooms like a Glastonbury.
  9. Better team won, hopefully the geordie losers will shut up now.
  10. I always think Draper looks like human Shrek in Shrek 2, the handsome devil.
  11. Schar has had so many head injuries that in any other sport he’d have been retired by now. Hope the lawsuit isn’t too heavy when he gets dementia by his 50th birthday.
  12. Love how Liverpool have rattled Newcastle through tapping up Isak then when it really matters kept their cool and waited for the Newcastle head loss. One club full of ‘mentality monsters’ as Klopp used to say, the other club ‘mentality morons’ as I’ve just said.
  13. Ha ha haaaaa go on the Liv
  14. Felt really bad for Medvedev, clearly got some serious issues going on behind the scenes. Not nice to see somebody publicly breakdown like that.
  15. Cmon Liverpool, put those moaning Geordie losers back in their box
  16. Nobody’s saying there should be no restrictions, it’s that the current PSR policies are not working.
  17. They don’t. Fans haven’t had any power in this country since 1985 and that was when fans got English clubs kicked out of Europe. We sold our souls to the devil like in every walk of life.
  18. Maybe this might finally lead to the British tabloids doing a deep dive on him, unless he threatens to have them all murdered first
  19. If it makes people feel good then good for them. I get a buzz when I see the Leicestershire flag so I get it. I just wish if people wanted to do something actually for the greater good, they’d channel their energy into something systemic in their local communities, rather than something that makes zero difference to people’s wellbeing.
  20. The whole thing is just utterly brain dead, lowest common denominator stuff. Both sides in that case. Just utter utter guff.
  21. Is anyone actually taking them down though?
  22. Pretty despondent at the state of things at the moment. Angela Rayner getting a lot of heat for purchasing a second home (not a third, she has a flat that all non London MP’s get). Is this not the Thatcherite, neo-liberal dream? A woman from a deprived Manchester council estate making it to the top of the political system, investing her wealth into property?? She maybe should’ve just stayed in her lane all along like all the other peasants. And then all of this flag nonsense, if only people had the same energy to do something in their local communities that would make meaningful difference.
  23. Shan has hit 382 runs but nobody else has got above 300, Hill, Patel and Budinger in particular very disappointing. One of the reasons for Shan’s strike rate is that he’s always been rebuilding. Today all we had to do was see of the first 4/5 overs when the ball stopped moving as it was an easy pitch to bat on. If we were 0-0 after those overs then fine. Instead we lost 4 daft wickets and the game was realistically gone.
  24. Unreal effort by Mike at the end here. Putting the top order to shame for their woeful efforts for a very a very chaseable total.
  25. Did I just read Forest bought Omari Hutchinson for £42.5m???
