  1. His body language has been off and I don’t mean that as a disservice to the fella, he’s clearly disappointed.
  2. Yes just had to read what I put but that was it, the rotation would cause the stand to disproportionately block the sunlight to Burnmoor Street. They also had a covenant removed in the early 90s to enable greater expansion.
  3. Yes there was, for an ice hockey team specifically mentioned from sources I saw.
  4. For my undergraduate dissertation, I analysed the development of Beaumont Leys from potential satellite town to its current state. I found there was also a residents group formed to oppose a potential stadium in the area, they brought hooliganism rather than regeneration benefits (or viewed to in the 1970s-1980s) then! For my MA and one day hopefully PHD, I looked at football stadiums within the planning system, retaining heritage via location or design etc. For context of the Beaumont Leys stadium, try and think of a new stadium relocation in the 1970s- it just never happened in this period. Early 1990s we could have seen an expansion that might have been sufficient to see us stay at Filbert Street but this was rejected upon the grounds of blocking light and potential noise disturbance. Despite the club attempting to mitigate with community benefits and amenity to residents. We then nearly ended up on the other side of the soar(there are some nice pictures going round) but I think from memory this was rejected because retail space came with it, that contradicted local plan or spatial plan.
  5. I enjoyed it until the Aiyawatt stuff but fair play for trying.
  6. Also how the ownership is portrayed by some, you’d think Aiyawatt would put his had in his pocket personally.
  7. The club is the fans. The actions of a company and its entourage who own us, aren’t the club. Most of the ‘moaning’ is done with the best intentions.
  8. I’m sure the club could have afforded something if they’d just reduced the number of buses at the parade. But on that weekend it should be that remembered that the players who’d won the title, weren’t the most important people in the club’s eyes.
  9. Watch it be Castle Rock 🤣 Or a similar midlands one.
  10. Probably between 12-15 million.
  11. Hope people continue to buy food and drink from outlets away from the stadium.
  12. Great attitude, everyday is a school day.
  13. Put it like this, I’d only be confident in Hermansen, Ricardo and Winks to perform to the levels needed to keep us up.
  14. I like to have a drink after work too.
  15. We weren’t a more attractive proposition. We had no money to spend. Lopetugi was more realistic during this period.
  16. Reckon he’s got a space through clearing at Northampton Uni?
  17. Looks like he’s got a glass of coke and is vaping. Not great.
  18. Where is this?
  19. You could argue he never did, if their default position when doing badly is to blame fans for being mean. You learn the most about someone when the chips are down.
  20. Someone I can get public transport to and back on the same night. Very narrow choices.
  21. They probably wouldn’t come to us now.
  22. Sorry to be a weirdo but we signed Dabizas in the January.
  23. Enjoyed the pod this week but I think a crowdfunder should be set up for the new lad so he can buy some cough sweets.
  24. Current events- my arse. Said Jim Royle.
  25. Fair enough if this breaks down over tax. However, what the club cannot afford is to them go down the list and see Ayew as an adequate replacement. That’s where they should be criticised on this, although past club behaviour on transfer always leaves open the possibility we could do more, to get this done.
