  1. A few pints in Nine Bar last night. I should go there more often, was lovely sitting out and some nice beer choices, albeit only on Keg.
  2. 8 weeks for a small development, 13 weeks for a large development and 16 weeks if it requires an environmental impact assessment.
  3. Thanks so much, as it always or normally does air at the start of the week, it’s not felt the same since the break.
  4. The answer is normally somewhere in the middle. Critical thinking is sparse. There is no excuse for the behaviour of those reacting badly in Southport, except they’ve been duped like the 5 million who voted for reform. We must engage with the working-class, rather than ostracise them further.
  5. Why weren’t you pro active? Absolute nonsense that deserves deleting.
  6. Somewhere in St Martins.
  7. Not technically a restaurant but Leicester institution Currant Affairs is moving from Loseby Lane. Unfortunately, I think its long term future is likely limited.
  8. I imagine this is a loan that could happen later in the window. But at the moment we have Cannon and Daka as our only fit strikers.
  9. He’s a wannabe autocrat, this shouldn’t be a surprise.
  10. Lots of supporters are, that’s why we want to hear the podcast!
  11. Not far from Corby then.
  12. Is @Corbeefrom Corby?
  13. If Andy Burnham says there is more to the initial video, then I’d recommend people wait before overall judgement.
  14. If it still ends the last mile on New Walk(going up), I’m never doing it again!
  15. I respect him for having to deal with our ownership, finding out we were done financially in January, still getting us promoted and then getting a free holiday out of Aiyawatt(in Monaco) before going to Chelsea. Enzo- this is.
  16. Went to Black Horse on Braunstone Gate last night, old landlord was back.
  17. A good craft place could easily work there. The tickers of Leicester gave Sommar a good go but if you can’t chat beer or do small talk, it won’t work. Plus the decor was crap.
  18. Spot on! For those saying that under Kinng Power the club has become a better resource for community relations, like local charities. I remember every season, from when I first started watching us from 02/03(as a seven year old), the club giving a grand to around 19-23 charities a year. The number denoted by either premier league or championship home games. Each game, the chosen charity(some very specialist) would get a spread in the programme and a chosen player promoting it. One of my parents ran one of the chosen charities(think they got Stearman); the money and publicity had such an impact.
  19. Iversen won’t be going to Derby, as they look set to sign another keeper now. Let’s hope he overtakes Ward in the pecking order now.
  20. Iversen is a far better goalkeeper than Ward. But neither are good enough for us next season, albeit we would have stayed up with Iversen in goal for the whole of 22/23.
  21. Anyone done a Sunday Roast in the Cheney Arms in Gaddesby before?
  22. Fancy using corporate tickets as the metric to measure the club’s relevance to its fan base.
  23. Back in Leicester now but head to East Anglia 2/3 times a year. Where you recommending north of the Waveney?
  24. Yes and considering most of my interaction with Adnams will be with their bottled beer in the supermarkets, it’s no surprise I’m slightly disappointed.
  25. Yes, certainly better in my experience. They always have a few temporary beers on keg, that are not bad considering they’ll only be on for a few months. I ran past it this morning, I have been before for a meal but unfortunately too late. Noticeably not Adnams, if I’m correct.
